We got there after being told we'd be able to leave our luggage at the reception, but the check-in desk was closed and left unattended. There were other 4 people waiting for someone to arrive and check them in: in the end, after about 30mins and several calls to the (incorrect) number specified in the booking, a housekeeper came to our rescue and checked us in.
The room was large and well lit, with a nice balcony with a view in line with one's expectations for Liverpool, but the sofa and chairs could use some extra cleaning. Finally, we would have appreciated if there had been any shampoo in the restroom in addition to the hand soap.
