Bad Management
Check in on Friday was good, but pool closed for cleaning. Still closed Saturday morning when sign said opens at 9. (Who cleans the pool on the busiest days of the week anyway)
I went to the office and asked the manager Thomas when it would be opened as my granddaughter was upset because she still couldn't use it . I asked in a jovial tone, and he retorted in a matter-of-fact manner and then continued to be completely condescending and then tried to dismiss what I had heard him call me, so basically called me a liar.
I have never been treated so poorly in an establishment ever. As a regular traveller for business I have never been insulted ever until now. And in taking approximately 1 week per month over 25 years staying in hotels, have I ever left a bad review either.
Then to top it off, out of no where, (except maybe guilt) I received notification that I would get a $100 reimbursement in 2-5 business days. Nearly 4 weeks later hear some excuse that it has to come from my booking agent who have no idea about this, even though my statement clearly shows Platinum took my money.
Obviously this guy needs some training in customer service or a job that he likes as clearly he isn't happy here. I don't even care about the reimbursement, you can keep it. Lessen learned - I would never stay here again!
