Inspect Your Room
Front desk staff was very polite but the first room they put me in (basic room, king bed) should have been closed for deep cleaning. It was bad enough that I was prepared to sleep in my car with 2 dogs in the Florida heat instead of in that room.
When I requested a refund, the manager offered me a different room which I inspected before agreeing to stay. The second room was much better and the only complaint I have is the low water pressure in the shower. I very much appreciated that they were willing to remedy the situation rather than lose a customer.
Moral of this review: check the room before unloading your stuff into it. Whatever aspects are important to your comfort - bed softness, a/c, etc - test it all. Request a new room if it’s not acceptable because they’ll make it right.
