L'Echappee Belle is located inside the ancient city walls. It is an incredible location. Jackie our host met us outside the ramparts, helped us park, drove us with our luggage to her home, and also delivered us to our car the morning we left. She provided us with lovely breakfasts and fun conversation. She's full of helpful hints about how to experience Carcossonne.

Excellent location. Pleasant host who is an Australian ex-pat. While we enjoyed our stay at this place, it did not offer any French Immersion experience. We suggest contacting the host in advance for clarification about parking outside the walled city and being picked up to go into the walled city. The tourist information booth did not even know about the hotel guest parking outside of the walled area.

Vive' L'Echappee Belle
Jacque and Jean-Louis kept my arrival on track when tropical storm damage kept trains and me off the track! They and a ride from a French stranded passenger connected by phone and my stay began nearly on schedule when Jean-Louis met us at the hiway exit to Carcassonne! Everything about L'Eschappee Belle only made my visit to this lovely walled medieval village better. It is located only minutes from everything inside the walls. Homey continental breakfast and conversation was a relaxing start to each day. A memorable visit with fondness for the true spirit of hospitality!

カルカッソンヌは、TGVの到着駅でモンサンミッシェルに次いでフランス第２の人気観光地だというのに、駅前にタクシーがぜんぜん止まっていない。やっと1台来ても、降ろされた所は、城外のナルボンヌ門近く。このB&Bが城内奥にあるので、雨の中、石畳の上でトランクを転がして行くのは辛かった。しかしながら、このB&Bを経営しているご夫婦の客対応は素晴らしかった。朝食は、8時半と遅く、ハム･卵･野菜がないシンプルなものだが、ご夫婦が愛犬･愛猫を抱っこしながら朝食時に談話参加するというサービスが2日間共にあった。また帰りに、カルカッソンヌ駅行きバスの時刻を尋ねたら、ちょうど車で父親の家に行くので駅まで送ってくれると言ってくれ、大変助かった。

Un B&B extremadamente recomendable
Un B&B pequeño y acogedor. Muy familiar ya que los propietarios sueles charlar con los usuarios a la hora del desayuno. El marido habla (como mínimo) francés, inglés, catalán y castellano. Una delicia de lugar. Además te trasladan a la estación, si es necesario e incluye plaza de aparcamiento por el mismo precio. Es la segunda vez que me alojo en este B&B y, si vuelvo a Carcassonne, no dudaré en volverlo a hacer.
