You dont get what you paid for without a fight!
These apartments are basic but comfertable with most of what you need. Not the cleanest though and no chance of clean towels regardless of how long your staying. Balcony doors dont lock and safe doesnt work.
Dont expect to get what you paid for during busy season unless you arrive very early before all apartments are full.
2 years running we paid for an upper apartment with a balcony and spare beds. Both years they tried to put us in lower ground floor with dark terrace. Last year after an hour of having to explain and prove what we paid for, and call hotels.com for assistance we finally got the correct apartment. This year after a nightmare journey and after having to explain and proove again what we booked (hotels.com app isnt enough, you have to send them the email confirmation) we had no choice but to accept a ground floor then change the next day, which wasnt gauranteed, so left without a room for 4 hours!!
Staff are not helpful about this issue, no apologies just claim nothing they can do. Well there is something they can do, place visitors in the apartments they paid for and not base it on first come first served.
We wont be back as dont want the same hassle every year.
