First off, Meli was amazing. She contacted me thru WhatsApp to make sure we were OK bc we were running late for our check in. Then she was so nice and kind and provided us w dinner recommendations that were out of the world stellar! Then the next day the breakfast was sooooo good and cute. We me Claudio I think his name was. Asked us what kind of eggs we wanted. The spread was of course amazing. The fresh orange juice was the best I’ve ever had. We didn’t get to check out the pool, but the room was also really amazing. The terrace wraps around the whole outside corner of the building. We already want to come back and I’ll check out the pool then ;) A++++

This property is beautiful. It’s gated with a beautiful garden and a ton of outdoor space for lounging. The staff was super friendly. Room was very spacious with a private terrace. Very close proximity to anacapri city center which is great. Very nice breakfast as well. Staff made my friend bacon and eggs upon request… but the whole spread for breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, pastries etc.. very close to the bus stop and taxi station to get down the hill to capri.

So much to recommend this delightful oasis in Anacapri! I know it’s a cliché to say we were treated like family, but we really felt so much care and affection from the moment we arrived, a bit frazzled and out of sorts, that we were really made to feel part of the famiglia! The owner, Claudio, and manager, Tamara, know how to treat guests with warmth and hospitality, and to indulge guests with everything they might want or need. Breakfast was outstanding, freshly made omelets(!) and all of the best local fruits, meats, cheeses and breads that you could possibly want. And of course beautifully made cappuccinos. Having breakfast each morning in the lovely, tree-filled garden was the perfect way to start our days. Tamara and Claudio had great recommendations for beaches, restaurants, etc. There is plenty to do in Anacapri itself, and transportation to Capri and some beautiful beaches is just a short walk away. The location is fantastic, just off the main square, but down a quiet street that feels like another world. The room was gorgeous with everything you need, including a shower and a tub in the bathroom. Bed and linens were luxe, and the A/C cool. The terrace with a view was breathtaking, and we watched the sunset from there each night with our aperitivo. Of all the places we stayed in Italy, B&B Il Sogno really lived up to its name. Just a phenomenal experience. During your stay here you will feel like you are living the luxurious life of Capri!

The managers were very nice and helpful. We had a nice room with a view of the ocean. The location was wonderful and convenient. It was fairly quiet in the neighborhood. I had asked for two separate beds, received confirmation. When we arrived, the room had one bed. The manager immediately made it right and arranged two beds. They were very nice people.

Nice little stay
Il Sogno is a nice little B&B in a quiet part of town but easy to find. The pool is at the Hotel San Michele under 10 mins walk away, which also has a restaurant that serves fresh fish and lobster. The rooms are kept clean by the very friendly staff. They catered for my coeliac wife’s needs and made her feel looked after.
