Our stay was wonderful. The room was basic but just as described, clean and comfortable. We were in a (2) queen room with balcony overlooking the water and pool. The hotel was within walking distance to downtown during daylight hours. I would not walk back from town after dark. I would definitely stay again!

Delightful stay! Nice people. They provided snacks cheaper than the cost in an honor bar. Had chairs, cooler, noodles and snorkeling gear. Excellent place to stay!

Unfortunately the pool was so warm that it was unusable. There were some ants in our room. No daily room service was a surprise. Not as convenient to walk to town as other stays. Had complementary wash and dry. Very nice view from patio.

Great experience
Lovely spot with a breezy and shaded balcony. Perfectly equipped for a stay with just what you need in the kitchen and the coldest freezer (weirdly important here!) bring your walking shoes for the steep hill. Service and communication was absolutely perfect! Great place to be if you rent a car, but you also don’t need to!

Had an amazing time staying at coconut coast villas. You get an amazing view, kitchen with appliances if you guy groceries, stove, refrigerator, tv and WiFi. Staff is excellent on communication. You also get free access to laundry which is wonderful. The villas are about 12 minutes out from downtown St. John which makes it really walkable if you want to go out and explore or get groceries. There are some steep parts of the walk to and from the villas but if you walk the right way, it shouldn’t be bad. Overall great property to stay at for a great price.

Disappointed
Nice people but the location and the photos are very deceiving. Unfortunately the water was completely flooded with Sargassum so we couldn’t walk down, then the pool was dirty from the time we arrived, never being cleaned while we were there. The walls are paper thin and we literally heard every conversation of our loud neighbors. It’s also at a dead end with a jungle path and steep hills for the walk to town. Sadly it says remodeled, but the fridge is rusty and the room is just OK.

Hosts for the property are very nice and helpful. They provide lots of good information. The unit we stayed in has a wonderful porch overlooking the water. Very fun watching the car ferry go back and forth along with sail boats, power boats, etc. It's about a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shopping. It's in a quiet residential area of town. We did not rent a car (we like to walk) and had no trouble getting anywhere in the Cruz Bay area including Solomon and Honeymoon beaches. We had lots of great meals - The Terrace restaurant was our favorite. Be sure you make reservations for dinner. The dishes in this unit do need a bit of a refresh but this is just a small thing. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Home away from home with a better view! It was helpful seeing the pictures other travelers posted but even better in person. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was amazing, coming back to cook dinner after exploring the beaches was much more enjoyable then hustling to get dressed up to find a restaurant, and the view of the sea right oustide the porch made it all worthwhile. Located close enough to visitor center, shopping, and grocery store was a bonus. When I return I cannot imagine staying anywhere else plus the hosts are very easy to work with. We had unexpected travel changes last minute that lucky for us meant arriving a day early and the hosts replied to our accommodation request promptly. The place is clean, had extra items I would not of thought to pack or buy downtown, and I could not have asked for a better place to stay for my 1st time in St. John. It did not feel like a 5 star resort and that's what I looved the most! It was like staying at a friends place with towel service! Plenty of parking. The beach on site is a bit rocky so I suggest bringing water shoes. Having laundry onsite was a bonus..for a longer stay & just crusing around the island I'd likely pack less next time! If you like to be off the beaten path & feel like your home or at a friend's house rather than in a hotel, this place is for you!
