Perfect ocean view and sound of the waves made for restful sleep at night. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Sometimes it was difficult to get the shower going but once it did, very hot. There’s a slight ant problem getting into the rooms.

The hotel is perfectly situated on the beach. Staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful; in particular the manager who made an effort to provide advice and help when I was concerned about my flight. This hotel and is staff is just amazing. Really great service - and were really helpful. Specially Aika helped us out, and was really excellent in getting us a dinner change. (When what we wanted was not on the menu) The hotel is new, and nice. Everything was clean - and we had the beach right outside. It was a bit tricky to swim in the ocean outside the hotel, but we managed. It is 15 min walk in the beach to get to Nungwi beach/center

Overall I enjoyed my stay. My only recommendations is that they improve on the WiFi. I had very poor signal in my room. Also, the tv options were very limited and poor quality in the room. Breakfast was free and really nice but food for lunch and dinner is so so. I wish they had more local options. I also wish they played more local music. They seemed to play a lot of pop music through the day so the actual experience of Zanzibar was limited. The staff were really friendly and it’s a beautiful resort.
