Give Sloterdijk a go.
Great location and a very good hotel. Staff were excellent throughout. Just a few minutes walk from Sloterdijk Station with 6 minute train link to Amsterdam Centraal or take the Metro if you’ve more time or aren’t in an hurry. Easy link to Schiphol Airport too. Room was grand, facilities were good. Can’t really comment on the restaurant as we only chose to eat there once so we could try cafes in the city but the meal we had was good and staff were attentive.

Such a lovely stay. We paid the 20euros for early check in and the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our initial room did smell of cigarettes so when we went back to reception they couldn’t be more accommodating or apologetic. They upgraded our room and it was lovely. When talking with the ladies at reception I saw a bouquet of flowers and commented on how beautiful they were. The reception then arranged for petals to be put in our bedroom leading up to the bed. It was such a special thing to add to our already lovely trip. We were given towels on request too. The train station is less than a 5 minute walk away and if you go on the train rather than the metro it’s 1 stop into Amsterdam Central. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. All staff were lovely.

Good hotel for the price!
It was a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were a bit outdated but overall clean. This is more of a business hotel and on our last day, there was a AMS conference also taking place.

Good stay on the outskirts of Amsterdam.
One stop on the train away from Amsterdam Central, also easily accessible from the airport. Somewhat 'old school' 1990's decor in the rooms, but still comfortable enough. Not a huge amount gong on in the close vicinity, other than being attached to the casino.. Reasonably priced, considering how expensive Amsterdam is these days..

Friendly Staff!
Everything was great except for the housekeeping staff slamming doors going in and out of rooms. Once I counted over 12 times it happened. Where I come from it’s considered very rude to slam doors and having a medical condition where I was still in bed some days complicated matters. Even calling the front desk or asking them not to didn’t seem to help. Other than that a nice. Long term stay. Very near a major Tram, Train and Bus station. Staff super helpful and friendly.

The exterior of the hotel was a high standard, and is adjacent to a restaurant on one side and the casino on the other side. I arrived late evening due to the global IT issue and was helped to check-in by the hotel staff. Unfortunately nothing else was explained to me about the hotel or the amenities. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, but the toilet was not clean, unsure if the cleaner just forgot to clean it. I ordered room service the next day but had to collect the food from the restaurant. No cutlery was provided and had to ask. When i got to my room the soup I ordered was warm, unsure how long the food was waiting before I collected it, I didn't finish the soup. Also, my food should have been covered after it was prepared in the kitchen, hygiene purposes, rather than left open when i collected it. Had to ask for a cover to take the food back to my room. Nice hotel, but customer service needs improving.
