I liked that this property was quiet and the employees at the service desk were very kind and helpful. They had a nice workout room. The pool area was very hot. The pool itself was very slippery with many hairs in the water. It didn’t feel very clean. The hot tub was out of order when we went.

Seriously hate the long long winding drive. Up here , but the scenery is gorgeous and the property is beautiful. Too far from anything for me.

The room was far from advertised no fireplace, no jetted tub, room wasn’t as spacious as indicated. Floor was wet condensation was so bad in room like being in basement. The pool was the highlight of the trip….

It was very difficult to find the lodge. gPS took us the back way which was scary at night. However we should have followed the signs in to the front way even though it was longer.

Good place for a family trip
The hotel was great, a little dated, but clean. Pool was nice, but the floor around the pool is extremely slick. The restraunt food was good, but it closes really early, and there is nothing in close proximity to drive and get. My recommendation would be to add better selection to the sundries section of the "gift shop. the selection was limited to chips, candy, and chicken noodle soup. Vending machines may be an option as well. There is a laundry room, but it only has one washer and one dryer.

Great place to stay.
We went on hikes and read books outside in the courtyard. The resort was beautiful. The woods were amazing. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Everyone was very friendly.

8/10 Very Good

We would have called this stay excellent, however, it is a bit out of the way and the restaurant was the only food option. The food was terrible at best and the service was indifferent, we looked around at what others were eating, theirs was no different. I knew we were in trouble when we heard the microwave running almost non stop. My wife was served a baked potato that must have been in the oven overnight, it was burnt black and dried out, she sent it back, its replacement was no better. Both meals looked to have been prepared in advance and microwaved before serving. Otherwise the facility was clean and well kept, it's too bad the restaurant so badly marred the visit.

This is hidden gem that is absolutely amazing. Got there on an motorcycle and Route 10 is sheer heaven for a rider. Rt 16 is great too. The resort is spacious and super quiet, the perfect mountain getaway. The rooms are huge by any standards and staff are beyond friendly… couldn’t be better.

Excellent all around experience!
Hotel was very clean. Friendly, helpful staff (even gave us a personal call before our trip to update us on the park/restaurant status). The quality of food/service was awesome from the restaurant (breakfast takeout). Fabulous place to stay.
