Not the best stay
Our cable didn't work and unfortunately there was no one who coils repair it. I found the room to be mediocrity cleaned. There was a ton of dust and dirt under the bed and as well on the baseboards and the bathroom door and the only garbage can in the room is in the bathroom. I couldn't see another trash can around to dispose of out dinner garbage :( There is no staff on site between the hours of 6pm and 9am.

6/10 Good

Although this motel had renovations done some while ago, the rooms still seem small and "cheap". (We stayed here before the change of owners, and renos.) Yes, there are newer fixtures in the bathroom and newer furniture in the bedroom, it didn't feel like a boutique-style motel. The bedroom was over-crowded with furniture, yet felt cold and institutional-like with the cinder block walls. We were on the main level and didn't want to open the patio door for fresh air (it was very, very musty smelling) due to the questionable people lurking around the grounds. The coffee/tea facilities were nice and Ruth at reception was GREAT. She was really friendly and had a wonderful, sunny smile.

Stayed here with my partner and dog for one night before catching the ferry the next morning. Nice little yard attached to the first floor rooms to take the dog out. Close to lots of restaurants and the room was clean and spacious.

It’s on the main road and traffic can be busy. But for the price and convenience I’m ok to use earplugs

I loved the convenience of the self check-in. The place was very welcoming and clean. Unfortunately, whoever had the room above me was walking around and moving furniture until 345am, and the noise travelled very well between floors.
