excellent brief stay
Stayed just the one night, a pity...should have stayed longer! Dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent...way beyond what I usually expect from a 'small' hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean. Good value What more can you ask :)

Modern hotel.
Modern bathroom, clean & comfortable. Good car park. Near a noisy road. Stayed here to visit Munich, used the train from a nearby town. Lady on reception was very helpful. WiFi poor in our room as we were at the end of a corridor. Good Italian next door.

Perfect experience
Friendly welcome, spotless and modern room, comfortably big (we had a 3-person room), and probably the best breakfast I had in a 3-start hotel ever. We had a short walk in the nearby town Ayinger, which has a brewery and also an S-bahn station that connects to Munich. If you're by car, this is a very good alternative to staying inside Munich.

A quiet rural location
I had booked this hotel expecting it to be closer to the city centre (Munich). My error. The people at the hotel very kindly offered that they would cancel my accommodation at no cost if I wanted to move closer to town. I didn't have a car. Once I got the public transport sorted - bus and train, I was really happy to stay there. The room was clean, the bedding nice quality, the food in the in house restaurant delicious. They were very kind and helpful people. And it was nice to come back to somewhere peaceful the day. The only thing that let it down was the patchy wifi. In saying that though, everywhere I have stayed in Germany has had bad wifi.

Amazing!
We were amazed when we entered into the room. Spacious with a separate sitting area with a single bed prior to the main double bedroom. Bathroom was large as well with powerful shower. Spotless clean. Comfy beds. Breakfast was great. Real value for money. There was no fridge in the room but one in the staircase where you can take chilled bottles of water or beer etc. - all 1€/bottle which we thought quite generous. Another plus was the Italian restaurant next to the hotel. Food was lovely yet not expensive at all. We will be back for sure if we visit/pass Munich.

This was an ideal hotel to stay in, not very easy to spot but very nice neighbourhood, fantastic food, not much service when needed, brilliant prices on alcohol and very spacious and modern room. Excellent price for a very beautiful hotel.

Väldigt trevligt ställe men rummet vi fick var hemskt. Hade bokat dubbelrum och rökfritt men fick ett rum som va så inpyrt av gammal rök och sängarna i var sitt hörn. Vi kom sent på kvällen och åkte tidigt dagen efter så vi klagade aldrig över rummet. God frukost.
