What even is this place........
Room smelled weird, thin cheap blankets probably have never been replaced since the inn has been in business, pillows were flatter than a pancake, phone appears to be covered in diseases (which wouldn't be a problem because we would have never used it except for the fact that we received a call 30 minutes before checkout to remind us that checkout is in 30 minutes.) all other tenants seem to be living there, wifi didn't even reach our room, pushy owner was waiting at the door when we left our room to check out (which by the way, we had 5 minutes before we had to checkout), then we loaded the things into our car and the lady came running out yelling "Where is the room key?! I need it back!" ....it was the strangest checkout ever. The only pro would be that it was cheap.

I had stayed there in the past but did not return since I felt it was over priced for the room. Appears to have new owners, very polite, room was clean and roomy appears to have been refinished. Over all a very nice room in a quite neighborhood and reasonable rate.

Holiday 2015 - Longview
Didn't see the motel at it'd best! It was noisy with workman doing changes. Staff didn't seem to be aware I was coming, computer was playing up, couldnt give me a good map of the town. Stayed two nights and my room wasn't tidied after the first night. No breakfast. As I say they were working on the place so maybe it will be better in time!

Nasty place and lying staff!
They let out our room and when we arrived told us they didn't have our booking! Demanded a room they started speaking umongst themselves in a different language and got us in something that looked like a converted Garage? Tweeters everywhere! Mold in the shower and bed on rollers on a fake hardwood floor....... Nasty just NASTY

Cheap, clean and safe.
The room was cheap. We only needed a place to sleep for a short time, as we were up at 4 AM and out the door. It's an old place with zero amenities. No coffee, water glasses, desk and the TV was small. But it was clean and our car didn't get broken into while we slept. Doors still use a non-electronic key. For an inexpensive room, it fit our expectations.

Don't expect too much from this hotel. But the worst part about the rooms are that their carpet smells pretty bad.

no frills
This is a no frills kind of place. Comfortable bed and hot water. Don't expect the Hilton.

They didn't have our reservation when we arrived. Luckily they had a room, but place was pretty rough...

Clean and smelled good.
While the non smoking room I had was clean and smelled good, the linens were quite worn. No shampoo. But did have a hair dryer, fridge and micro wave. It's fine for a short stay.

I would never stay here again. Only lamp lighting, not all lamps worked. Says there will be a coffee maker, tea, cups, etc. Got there and none were in the room. Called front desk to ask if I could get one and their response was that they were renovating so they didn't have another, great thanks! Wifi also didn't work. My bed was hard as a rock, woke up with a back ache. Would never recommend this place, I would rather go camping and pay $15 less!

Hotel you get what you pay for!
I do have to give some credit to the Hotel for being REALLY close, like across the street, to Safeway and that it was close to the Highway. We did get reassured that the room that we stayed in was one of the last rooms to get remodeled. However, l don't know how thrilled I would of been in a remodeled room. We watched beds getting put into the new rooms and they looked pretty broken down. Our rooms carpet was atrocious. Stains all over and the bed was made really messy. We both decided to pull out our sleeping bags rather then sleep in the sheets. We didn't want to pay much for our room and so this is what we got. The service was great but the facility was not a place I would stay again. If the room had a REAL good make over and they posted some good pictures. I may reconsider based on the family, friendly staff and the convenience of the location. BUT probably not til then! YOU do get what you pay for!!

Rooms smells terrible
The hotel was unaware of our reservation on Hotel.com so if I hadn't called them directly to confirm, we would not have had a place to stay. While we were checking in, another traveler who had made reservations on Expedia was told that they were unaware of his reservation and that there were no more rooms. He was sent on his way at 11pm to find somewhere else. Ugh. So please call the hotel directly and confirm. The room smelled overwhelmingly terrible - smoke and who knows what else. The carpet was severely stained - it hadn't been shampooed in decades. The beds were comfortable. The windows were single paned and offered no sound protection from the parking lot activities. This hotel has had no updates since it was built in the 1950s, as revealed by the pink bathroom tile. The staff was well-meaning and polite. No complaints there. We would NEVER go back. The smell alone made it a fairly upsetting experience. At least the hot water worked.

Spacious Room, elderly but clean fixtures
Really a long atay place, but OK for an overnight stop. Pleasant staff (and help when we couldn't work out how to get the TV to work). Furniture had seen better days; carpet had stains; but the bathroom was very clean, the bed comfortable and the coffee drinkable. Asked for a $20 cash deposit on check-in - they quickly and cheerfully refunded this after they checked the room as we checked out.

Hotel.com double booked me, had to sleep in car
Booked through Hotel.com for the Hudson Manor Inn on 07/18-07/19. When we show up to check in, the hotel says they do not have any opening nor our names on record. My family had to sleep in the CAR!! I had called the customer service line from the hotel and spoke to a gentleman, explained all the details to be placed on hold for 45 minutes, and another woman answered the line and I had to start ALL over, then we were disconnected. This was unacceptable. I need answers to this lack of professionalism as well as to why I had a confirmed booking, but had to sleep in my car. I felt terrible for the people working the lobby as this happend to many others as well.

Cheap but you get what you pay for
The place is very run down. Hard to tell if it's new ownership and they have yet to fix things or if general maintenance of the place has gotten very far behind. The mother/daugher that appear to run the place were the highlight as they were really friendly and helpful

Dated
Front desk staff was very nice but the hotel was beat. Rugs were really dirty, room was quite old. They even took the light bulbs out of the lamps. Ironically, the place seemed like it was sold out. Popular little town.

FILTHY, DIRTY, DISGUSTING!
We had reservations for this place but when we saw the room we left. We have never seen such a dirty room. The carpet had food and who knows what else imbedded in it--it makes me shudder just to think about it. We wouldn't let our dogs sleep in this place.

overall it was nice. staff was friendly. room had a slight odor but i think that was due to being so old. coffee pot was dirty when i arrived and i had to clean it myself before using it. room seemed dark even with 5 lights on but that might be due to darker colored walls, curtains, ect.. the location was awsome. shopping only a 30 second walk to safeway (litterly). drive only 5 minutes to get to the lake in center of town. weather was perfect 70 degrees clear blue sky......walked around the lake very nice. only a 10 minute walk to commerece ave. which is nice old cultured street with buildings from the 1930's......loaded with newer cafe's and older thrift stores.

Should have read the reviews...
I was very disappointed... The room was certainly not what was advertised... The "kitchenette" is a microwave and a dorm fridge... No sink or stove.. The room smelled very strongly of cigarettes despite the MANY signs "gently reminding" guests to smoke outside... The only bright spot was the woman that worked the front desk was very nice... Clearly, this is an inn where people stay for long periods of time rather than rent apartments... We will not be back...
