Best of the Best hotel in Makkah
I have enjoyed my stay at this hotel to its full extent. I had received a warm welcome from Mr. Raeed, a front desk associate who gave an excellent service and checked me in . He offered me tea and juice . Mr. Raeed is very cordial , focused on guest satisfaction and very polite and well spoken person. He is definitely an asset to this hotel. House keeping was on time and great service I received from housekeeping associate Mr. Show Kay and supervisor Mr. Faisal. They both were very courteous and focused on guest satisfaction. Breakfast was delicious tasty and lots of items to choose from. All waiters are very cordial and their services exceeded my expectations. Crew Tarek was very helpful and very courteous towards guests. Overall I strongly believe this hotel is under great guest focused leadership and operational management. I wish them well and a great success for times to come . I will continue to stay in this hotel in my next visit and I recommend this hotel.

Nice and clean had a hassle free stay. Found staff courteous and helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathrooms are quite small not sure same for all rooms .... It's a bit crowded due to different hotels in same towers. Elevator are usually very busy especially around prayers times so always plan ahead. Quite convenient as you can walk right into haram's courtyard. Lots of shops around food courts although similar options. Having breakfast included helps to start the day.

Terrible service uncomfortable stay
We arrived on Aug 5th and left on Aug 8th 1. We did not get the room we had booked and were put in a suite. 2. The bathroom sink was clogged and we had the tech come 3 times, each time he tried to fix it and it did not work - went right back to clogging. It was horrible using a clogged sink for our 3 days of stay. 3. The AC never went below 23.5C and added to the sunlight from outside, the room was not at all comfortable. We were close to sweating. To summarise, we have been to umrah earlier, stayed in swissotel al maqam, movenpick, zamzam and had way better experiences. We always stay in clock tower due to proximity. We ended up wasting time waiting for technicians to come and fix( total of 6 times for the AC and the sink) and nothing was fixed. We felt the service was terrible and no way deserves more than 1 star rating. We asked the receptionist to refund us our money as we did not get what we paid for. He said he cannot help and to contact expedia. Contacted Expedia, they tried to contact the hotel, which refused to give any refund stating that our booking was non-refundable. There is unfortunately no concept of customer service and trying to rectify their situation even out of courtesy. So I give a zero or 1 star to them. Breakfast was excellent. Chef Dito and Chef Anirban were very good at their service and very courteous. However the air conditioning wasn’t cooling enough and the carpets are dirty and there was a dampness smell on our floor and in our room. The hotel front desk lady Maha was very kind to change my first room as it had a terrible stench and floor was very dirty. The property is in excellent location and very convenient and close to the haram and shopping. I hope they improve their carpets soon!
