Clean and safe, may need staff training.
The hotel was clean and felt safe. Parking lot was well lit. Our experience with the staff at the front desk was not great. The man who checked us in gave us a key to the wrong room after admitting he didn't see well. Then the fire alarm started going off after midnight. We were awakened several times in the night until the fire department was finally able to get it off. There were apparently only two staff members there at the time and they did not inspection the building to ensure we were all safe. It was a little scary that they seemed to have no emergency plan other than wait for the fire department, who also did not inspect.

Parking fee is a joke, we spent enough on the room and still got charged for parking in a empty parking lot. Tourism fee at a Holiday Inn Express makes no sense as it’s one step above a bottom line hotel. Whatever fee you think you are getting charged make sure you account for an extra $500……10 out of 10 would never recommend this hotel for the price you get charged
