Very nice
Hotel was very nice, location was excellent, breakfast was a good selection of warm/cold food.
The room had a fantastic view of the lake and main bay.
The bathroom could do with some updating replacing the bathroom with a shower cubicle and creating more space.

The hotel wasn't perfect, but we would still recommend it for the view alone. The hotel has the most glorious views of Lake Garda, so it's worth paying the extra for a lake view room. It is one of the few that has a pool and they provide towels. They could do with extra sunbeds, as some guests had to lay on the grass. The pool area is very shady, so if you want sun you have to keep moving your sunbed around to find a sunny spot. The hotel itself is very pretty, the communal areas are clean and our room was a good size. The negatives were that the bed was rock hard and the pillows weren't much better. The toilet was in an odd position behind the bathroom door, you had to hold the shower in your hand to use it and the shower screen just allowed the water to pour onto the floor. The TV didn't work. There was a small fridge which made the wardrobe hot but didn't keep anything cold. On the plus side the blackout blinds worked well, the aircon was great and we had a safe in the room. The waiting staff are friendly. We had lunch at the hotel a couple of times and had the Caesar salad, which was very good. The hotel is in a good location close to bars and restaurants (we would recommend the San Marco) and opposite the ferry terminal and ticket office. This is a great place to visit for a quiet and chilled break.

A Room With A View In A Charming Lakeside Town
We booked a room at Hotel Milano last minute when we spontaneously decided to extend a day trip to Lake Garda. We were delighted by the verdent and spacious grounds of the hotel. Some rooms overlook the gorgeous pool, however, ours opened onto the water and enchanting town.
We had a large balcony that was perfect for reading and taking in the sites and sounds of Maderno.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. Parking was only €5 for the night in the private lot.
Our only complaint is the limited pool hours. We had hoped to take a dip around 7:30 pm but the pool was already closed for the day. For summer, this seemed unreasonably early to close the pool.

Bait and switch.
Do not stay here. I booked for a double superior room with a balcony. I fully paid when I booked. When we arrived we were given an economy room looking at the employees area for laundry and garbage. The window shade was broken. The staff was “smooth” and clearly knew what he was doing. I was given 20 euros back ( after he took the tax out for a second time!) this is a scam by the hotel and I would recommend everyone stay away.

A wonderful hotel, exactly what I was expecting. A beautiful looking building, with fantastic views. Lovely clean rooms, and extremely friendly staff. Easy onsite parking. A great pool with clean towels for everyone and very comfortable sun loungers. The buffet breakfast had a lovely selection of food and good Italian coffee. An extremely good price and worth every penny. I would 100% recommend the Hotel Milano to anyone wanting a 4 star, typically Italian, experience in beautiful Lake Garda.

Best location in Toscolano Maderno - walk to everything. The balcony rooms overlook the beautiful lake. Breakfast is ample and can be eaten in the large, bright dining room or taken outside to poolside.

Just for one night only
It was ok and not too much good things to talk about it. The TV was so small may as well not to put it there. The bed was very hard. The shower stall is so small that you even can not turn around to wash the other side of your body. No room around the sink to put your tooth brushes and make up there. They charged E$5 for parking and there is room for parking on the street.

Wasn't really what I was exspecting
The good points are the location is great, good car park. Nice breakfast and nice pool and grounds. Bad points, we got a superior room, it didn't feel it. The air con did not work, room temp never dropped below 25 degrees the 2 nights we stayed. The shower is useless to anyone above 6ft tall as it is a fixed head and can't be moved. There was a couple of other small things but honestly u was just dissapointed.

Brilliant location on the lake
Very nice hotel next to the lake with easy access to the ferry. Lovely pool area. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Secure parking is available on site. The breakfast was very good and included a wide choice to accommodate most requirements. The room we had was quite small but extremely clean and had a good sized bathroom. The only downside was that the bedroom window had a metal shutter instead of full curtains which made quite dark and made it feel quite claustrophobic. Unfortunately the bedroom lighting was very limited to compensate for the shutter.

Very nice hotel with excellent view and lovely sta
The hotel has a lovely view across the bay and is well situated with lots of restaurants. It also has easy access to the ferries which stop right outside. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. They work very hard. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Only downside was the air conditioning is not very powerful.

Great hotel in excellent location
We really enjoyed our short break here!
The hotel itself is in a great location within easy walking distance of restaurants, ferries and a beach. The service was very good and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a balcony which was a great size and the room itself was modern and spacious.
We hired a car and found it helpful for getting around (although the ferry terminal is right beside the hotel so a car isn't needed) and the hotel has secure off-road parking.
We definitely wouldn't hesitate to go back again!

Great location, great views, good breakfast, nice gardens, parking and a pool. Shame about the lack of interest from the staff on the front desk, it is such a hardship taking money from tourists. All the other staff were friendly and helpful, perhaps if you don’t like dealing with tourists don’t go into this industry.

Nice Hotel on the Lake
The perfect relaxing getaway! Balcony is definitely worth the extra money. Pool is clean and well maintained. Pool chairs could be upgraded but still do the trick (ran into two that lost the wheels when I tried to move them). Breakfast buffet was quite good. Regular buffet style with decent choices and quality meats. Internet worked very well and even extended to the far side of the pool. You could order drinks poolside and charge to the room, which was convenient. Hotel staff was informed and mostly pleasant. Hotel location is within walking distance to several different restaurants and a lakeside beach. Room was small but comfortable; came with a refrigerator which was nice. Could use a garbage can in the main room (only one was located in the bathroom).
PROS: Great view, good breakfast, quiet and relaxing pool.
CONS: Other guests would 'reserve' pool beds with towels first thing in the morning and then go eat breakfast which is both rude and annoying. Not sure what could be done about it, but maybe put a sign saying towels will be removed after 10 minutes of absence to make sure pool beds are open for guests who are actually AT the pool.
