Staff was awesome. Breakfast was wonderful. Clean place. Was by metro, so was a little noisy at night. But expected. I chose to be close to metro. I’d definitely go there again.

Good location and decent room
# Location of D'Angelo is very good. There is a tram station just 2 minutes walk away from where you can take trams to anywhere in Prague. Also, there is big commercial area nearby. # Complimentary Breakfast was ok ok. # Room was quite big and decent looking. It was clean and overall it was ok experience. Room quality is like a 2 star hotel.

Australia
We like the room is spaces for a family of 4. The kids beds isn’t comfortable but our bed was good and big with lots of rooms. Breakfast could be better, breakfast kitchen a bit too small as there was people bumped into each other if it’s busy. The lights in the room is a bit too dark. Maybe the light balls need to change, but overall is OK. As I am not too fussy person but though it could be improve if you want my feedback. There is alway room for improvement. There is a walking distance for the city.

Two day stay in Prague
This was our family's first trip to Prague. We feel happy to stay in D'Angelo. The staff was friendly and helpful. The family room is spacious and our kids like it very much, just like living in our own home. The breakfast is good, I would say it is better than most of the budget hotel brands. Although it is not a fancy or luxurious hotel,it provides everything you need, it is close to shopping mall and transportation hub, very convenient to every where in Prague. Impressive affordable hotel, if you are a budget sensitive traveler and would like to get a basic daily life need, this is where you must choose.

Sam’s Review
The towels need replaced daily along with the sheets. The floor needs vacuumed daily. The breakfast was sufficient for their style of breakfast. Mattresses could be thicker. Could use air conditioning. 2 to 3 blocks from the tram stops. Would have liked to be a little closer to the town center.

We stayed here in an emergency when our flight was cancelled late at night. Staff were helpful, hotel was very clean but lacking in air conditioning. Breakfast was ok. I wasn’t to keen on the area but overall a reasonably nice place to stay

Pretty bad
The confused staff, the uncomfortable bed, noisy trams right by your window made the experience very bad. Stay away, unless you're counting pennies. even then, there are much better options on about the same money

Friendly hostel rather than hotel
The hostel has huge rooms, very nice firm beds, huge bathroom, bath and shower, hair drier, tea and coffee in room, really clean, lift, excellent continental style breakfasts, big choice help yourself buffet, there was hot food but did not look to good, it has no bar or resteraunt but you can buy beer from reception and a few basics, wine, crisps, it is in a run down part of town, but only a ten minitute walk to a large selection of shops, big shopping mall, big choice of bars and resteraunts and importantly a metro, and is 4 stops to the city centre, 10 mins, drawback is, the trams seem to run all night outside, so it is noisy with that and car noise, probably suited to those in 20-30 age group, but I (59) enjoyed it and would stay again, very cheap, excellent value, nice people 8.5/10

Stay just fine, good price
A modest room with all the minimum requirements. It was comfortable, somewhat noise because there are tram lines just through the window. The staff was very helpful.

Very good hotel for good price
Room was very clean and nice. Breakfast was good and varied. Staff helpful and polite. Very good location - close to city centre and mall. Another plus is free off street parking. Only disadvantages were windows hard to open and little noise from the street.

convenient location.
This is a nice hotel. very clean, updated with parking. easy access to the public transportation system. A large mall is only 10 min walk away. easy access to the major highways. The ONLY complaint is......the hotel credit car machines were not working. we had to pay cash.

Uncomfortable 2 nights stay, friendly helpful staff
I gave not the best marks because; the bed was awful, the mattress sagged to one side and was really bad for the back. The pillow was so huge it was hard to use. Curtains so thin that light filled the room too early in the morning. Very uncomfortable 2 nights stay. Great hotel if not needing to sleep. Good friendly staff. Nice room layout and spacious.Bring your own soap too.

Nice hotel close to metro station to get to the old town. Hard to find a place to pullover to check in at first. They have parking however, which is a good deal, but it is very hidden. overall the hotel was very nice and clean. I would recommend it to others.

Perfect For Us
We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect for us. Dog Friendly, Free Parking, Free breakfast (now this isn't a major buffet or anything but for the price it is good enough) close to Metro station, great restaurants right down the street, and a Fantastic Price. Something else we haven't seen in Europe - they had a coffee pot in the room! This hotel also deserves one more huge kudo - it was my husbands birthday during our stay and the hotel left him a birthday card on our door! We travel a lot and No one has ever done that. (And we usually give ourselves a trip somewhere for birthdays and anniversaries) Thanks for making our first trip to Prague a nice adventure to add to our list. Yes, we would stay again!

Nice hotel in a good neighbour. staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but still good enough. the only disapointment was TV - way too small and did not work properly. Well, but you not supposed to be inside:).

Nice enough, but few things need to change
First and most important I was charged 10€ more than the stated price and also more than the receptionist told me I will be! I noticed that only now that I arrived home and checked on the e-bank. Let's see: The hotel looks nice, well kept, facilities are either new or well kept. The staff were nice and helpful. The parking is behind the building, feels safe but doesn't look nice. We were on fourth floor and got a big, tastefully furnished room with two big beds (one in a seperate bedroom, the other accesible by stairs on the half-floor) and a small one, a couch, a kitchenette and a bathroom with a big bathtub. What bothered us was a strong smell of puke (seems whoever occupied the room before us partied a bit too hard). We had to open all of the windows for the evening, but it didn't fully go away until next day. The cleanliness was mostly adequate, I didn't like the fact that the sink in the bedroom wasn't cleaned. Breakfast: in a nice room with about 10 tables for 4. There was standard variety of foods: bread, salami, cheese, oatmeal, OJ, coffee, tea, some salad, eggs, jams, butter, yogurt+cereals - the quality of food was pretty standard, too, I'd say even on the good side. The neighborhood was peaceful(it helped that our room was NOT facing the road), some sirens could be heard once in a while. It's a 20-30min walk to get to the centre or whichever attraction. There is a shopping centre just a 5 min walk away.

Good. You get what you would expect.
If you look for a budget hotel in Prague that is located close to all amenities, Hotel D'Angelo is a good choice. Overall Hotel D'Angelo is good for what it is; a 3star hotel that is very conveniently located in the Smichov part of Prague. The rooms are rather large but simple furnished. WiFi is good throughout the building. Breakfast is buffet style and overall good. Make sure you get a room the faces the rear of the building as hotel is on a very busy road. Backside is reasonably quiet. Also, some rooms have very thin walls and you will hear absolutely everything that is going on in the room next door. We had this the first night and asked for a different room which we got without any trouble. The room cleaning was not always to our satisfaction and we would expect more. It seems as if the chamber maid rushed the job and did not do it as thorough as she should have. 24hour reception and staff was always helpful.

Great 3star hotel. Pros, cons, neutral remarks.
Hotel was better that we expected for the 3 star. Pros: Clean, in good condition. 2 min walk to public transport. Free parking. Wifi works perfect. There is a big shopping center 3-4min walking distance away. Grocery store too (good if you want to grab something to your hotel room or to buy gifts on the last min). Only hotel guests can enter. Both entrance doors are opened just with electric cards. Cons: hotel is on a very busy street. Traffic is not so loud cos the walls are real thick, BUT when tram goes by on the rails, it is a little disturbing :) They don't pass by that often though. Personally me missed some fruits on breakfast table. There were just apples. Neutral: hotel is wall to wall with the hostel. There are often weird looking people with bags around. When you go out from the back yard, you have to pass trash containers.

Lovely hotel, excellent location and price.
We (A couple) stayed 8 nights at D'Angelo hotel. Disadvantages: * No shampoo (we bought some in the nearest mall). * Staff was kind, but was not able to answer questions about the city. * TV was hard to operate, and there was no English news channel. Advantages: * Great location! 500m walk to Andel center - metro and tram, and a Novi Smichov mall. * The breakfast was good (same breakfast everyday with minor changes). * Free wifi, great signal in room. * The price was the lowest among all hotels which located next to public transport. * Very comfortable and large room. Bottom line: * We would highly recommend this hotels for people who wants to get great location in low price. * We would be glad to stay at D'Angelo on out next trip to Prague!
