Such a cute spot. In walking distance to the Seaside Beach. Although walking with little ones you may want a stroller. Amenities were so many things to do and lots of fun. Air hockey, oversized chess pieces, enough things to do to keep the family busy. The house was perfect with everything we needed for a family of 5 plus a beautiful view of the pond. Have I mentioned the fire pit? Overall just a vibe! The property Manager was effective in communication and was there to answer all my questions, which there weren’t many. Highly recommended!!

Brilliant detached house style accomodation. Kitchen fully stocked with all you need apart from a kettle. Lounge area a bit too small for 4 adults but we were just a couple and a dog so no issues for us. Get lake/mountain view to avoid being close to the road and traffic noise .

This was a great little cabin for our family. So comfy and full of everything we could possibly need. Super close to seaside. Our own parking space, nice safe play area out front of all the cabins. The only thing I would change is a few shelves near the sinks for make up and all the extra things I bring! These cabins are pretty spacous amd beautiful but dont have a ton of storage. We will definitely be back.

Ours was a last minute decision which worked out perfect. We had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, of course wildlife. There was rain, hail and snow which gave it a true Pacific Northwest experience in early March. We had the fireplace going as we sat and watched the storm outside. Beds are comfy, place was clean and fresh. Kitchen is well equipped. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was perfect for our family of 4. Foldout couch in living room is great. They provide fresh, clean & comfy bedding. Well lit, great ambiance. Designated parking unless in our case someone had parked in our spot so we took someone else’s.

Everything was fairly clean and comfortable but the biggest disappointment was no swimming pool! After tons of fees, the price ended up being almost double what was advertised as the per night price. Very misleading. TV in bedroom/s would have been nice. Not as close to the beach or downtown Seaside as I’d hoped…..definitely not walking distance. Washer and dryer would have been helpful too. They have you take out the garbage and wash dishes…..not a huge deal except that they are charging you a huge cleaning fee.

These were beautiful & practical homes. We loved that they were tucked away from the busyness of Seaside but was walkable to some restaurants / the beach and shops. It was only a 14 min drive to Cannon beach as well. We went a couple times for meals & walks on the beach. The home we rented was perfect for a family of 4. It was very clean, well appointed, towels were good quality and new. The kitchen was adorable and handy! They supplied everything you would need for a vacation home kitchen. Loved the open timber shelving with "The commons " logo'd cups & the SMEG fridge was very cute . Layout wise we thought it was very smart to have two master king bed suites with spacious ensuites. Our kids took one and we took the other. There is also a pullout queen couch which was a nice option. My son ended up moving to the pullout after night one so he could watch TV in the evening and enjoy the gas fireplace in the greatroom. We enjoyed the Adirondack's with the gas firepit on the back deck. That was a nice bonus! Our friends had a court yard home which didn't have the back deck. So they would come over nightly and we would enjoy a glass of wine on our deck and watch the ducks on the water after dinner . We would recommend The Commons to anyone wanting to visit seaside or Cannon Beach.
