My father passed away and I had to cancel my trip to plan the funeral and burial services. I asked very nicely on three occasions via email for some type of refund just out of kindness. While the hotel staff responded and told me hotel management had to make the decision, I never heard one thing, yes or no, on my request. To make it worse, the hotel used my email requesting a refund to email me day of my booking asking when I will arrive. Very insensitive.
I did not cancel my reservation because I think it’s absurd for a hotel to be able to collect my money and then rebook a very busy, popular hotel and make twice the money on a single room.
I do NOT recommend this hotel as they showed an utter lack of compassion and empathy towards my situation.
