We got a room here through a deal, it's a beautiful old chateau set in manicured grounds. However, this place is seriously pricey - I could not recommend going unless you got a discount.
Our room was nice and had everything that you'd expect from any modern establishment, phone, wifi, coffee/tea making facilities, en suite with the thickest fluffiest bathrobes I've ever seen, but, somehow the overall impression was not of luxury. Perhaps this was because the room needed a little tlc, the carpets were a little worn, the room safe was not secured to anything and the paintwork needed touching up.
The hotel restaurant was great, serving really good food and had a large selection of wines. The pool was nice and the area is very peaceful.
