Exterior needs help. There are a lot lot lot of cigarette butts in back of parking lot and at least two abandoned cars with flat tires in lot. It doesnt make a good first impression.
While technically there is a pool. It hasnt held water in 10+ years. It is false advertising to say they have a pool much less post pics of one. It wasnt a mistake to put pool pics on hotels.com. It was a flat out lie.
They collect a cash deposit, which is just wrong and creepy. I understand it is policy. Doesnt make it better. They have my credit card info, my driver license, cell number and email address, and I'm a windham reward member.
Desk clerk asked me to sign an illegible form with faded ink on what they can use the deposit for. Then told me half the stuff doesnt apply. He didnt want to give me a receipt for the deposit citing policy. People read and demand a receipt.
He also asked me to sign a form stating they and their affiliates can use my info however thay want. Be sure to cross off, dont sign this
Between the exterior condition and the cash deposit, the various receipts and lack there of, I wanted to be dissatisfied. However, my room saved the day. It was clean, had been remodeled recently. AC worked great, bed comfy, ok pillows. I liked the blue wall and decor. I liked the triangle shower. Water pressure could have been better. I really like the lighting in the room. I was happy the bathroom light was only a light and not a loud fan too. Room fridge was quiet.
