Perfect Stay

Everything was perfect from the valet service to the room service ladies speaking in the hallway. Every employee was super nice and very helpful!! Would highly recommend to anyone. Plus, everything was super clean, the restaurant and rooftop bar was top notch! No need to leave the hotel site everything you need was on site even live music at night for entertainment.

Overall our experience at this hotel was exceptional in all aspects! Our family of 5(2 adults 3 kids ages 14-11-9) stayed 3 nights-4 days, very much appreciated the overall hospitality, great guest service staff especially Jon and Mike at front desk were both super friendly and professional throughout our stay! Valet parking attendants were also very helpful and friendly. Huge plus was easy Beach access plus the convenience of the golf cart shuttle down the street to Vilano beach entrance was key! Great local coffee and ice cream shop plus Publix grocery store steps away from hotel and some great local eateries all in walking distance were all great options. Breakfast buffet and upstairs patio restaurant on property were outstanding choices! Only 8-10 minutes drive over the bridge back into old town St. Augustine. We would not hesitate to stay at this Hyatt Place again.

We loved the Hyatt Place! Every member of the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and were always able to help. The room was wonderful and we loved the view of the ocean from our balcony. The beach was closer than I expected and an easy walk, but it was also nice to have the hotel shuttle available as well. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance as well! Make sure you stop at the Vilano Coffee Shop more than once during your stay! Great coffee and delicious deserts! It’s also very nice to have a Publix right across the street it came in very handy. We had dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant on our first night. The food was wonderful! The area is quiet and feels secluded but you’re only 10 minutes (or less) from the hustle and bustle of the historic district. We had a great time on our Spring Break trip to St Augustine and the Hyatt Place was one of the reasons! We will be coming back to the area in the future and will stay here again! 5 stars all the way!

We travelled with 2 other couples, and everyone liked this hotel. Obviously newer and modern, it was in great shape. The rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. Dining and beaches just a few minutes' walk. We would definitely stay there again.

Great clean hotel for a weekend

Things started well as i drove into the fairly small drive at the front of the hotel. Was greeted by a very friendly gentleman which helped us get the things out of our vehicle and parked it. Check in was great and the lady answered all our questions with a smile. Got a nice room with a small lanai and a angled view of the ocean The area is nice, lots of hotels but not a lot of restaurants. The provided breakfast was very nice, being some of the items were cool. We needed some items out of our vehicle a couple times and the valet was always very nice to get it or yhe vehicle itself. We were able to leave it parked after we checked out so we could continue at the beach, which was a nice plus.

Great stay!

This hotel is very clean and our room was very spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and the availability of the pool and beach towels. We also enjoyed the pool and the easy walk to the beach.

Used to live in St. Augustine and we were in Vilano many times. Hadn't been in about five years and it has grown quite a bit. Many more hotel options. This property is only a year old and it is still in like new condition. Public areas clean and comfortable, room well appointed and the addition of Michael Lugo's restaurant concepts is a major plus...both formal and informal dining venues on the first floor and a roof-top facility open Thursday thru Sunday. Ate two evening meals there and the food was excellent, so was the service. If I had to find a negative it would be the ice machine. We like a cocktail in our room in the evening prior to going out to dinner...that requires ice...and the only ice machine for guest use on the property was on the third floor. That was a long way from our room and took a lengthy walk and two elevator rides each night just for ice.

This place is amazing!!

The Hyatt place at Vilano Beach was so nice to stay at. The price point was great and the staff treated you like royalty. The rooms were very clean, with lots nice added touches you don't get at normal hotel rooms. The bathroom was amazing, even the soaps they they have in the bathroom were extra nice compared to other hotels. They have pool towels already in the room for you, nice coffee and tea already in the room, the breakfast included in the room was delicious, if needed they will take you around in a golf cart locally to the hotel area to stores or the beach, restaurants.

The staff was not friendly with the exception of the cleaning staff. Thr front desk people openly lie about the street parking in order to sell $25 per day parking. We were told that if we parked on the street , the car will be towed...a complete lie. The city does not have a tow away policy for street parking and we were told that they did. A scam.

This hotel has a gourmet chef who has one of his restaurants here and also cooks for the rooftop bar and has a hand in the breakfast food. Beyond delicious. This place is ver pet friendly and the staff is soooo nice. Rooms were great too and it is a block and a half from Vilano beach with a Publix across the street. Felt very safe.
