The property was undergoing construction. They were working on the room next to me and hammering and drilling away until 9:00 pm. I thought the holiday would offer some reprieve, but the construction workers still worked. I texted the hotel representative, who said he could move me to the third floor, which didn’t have construction going on. I asked why I wouldn’t have gotten a room on the third floor in the first place, and he wouldn’t answer that question. He said that construction would be completed by 9:00, so I opted not to move as I was already in my pj’s and would have to pack up. It went on, and I texted at 9:49 and got no response. The next morning I didn’t have hot water. I was assured by the representative that I would get a call from the general manager, but they have yet to reach out.
