No Apple Pay for Deposit
Mistreated due to a credit card issue for a deposit and yelled at over the phone and in the lobby. We're fire victims and have been displaced since June 2024. I extended the stay through Expedia (hotels.com) from 11/24-11/27 for two rooms and was told to leave over the phone while I had another engagement evolving my home - including being told that all my stuff would be thrown out if I don't arrive back in 30mins.
The card was on file due to staying the night prior. The owner fussed me out once I arrived back and wouldn't let me speak to clear up any confusion. He stated that I didn't want to pay the deposit and I was confused because I had given them my debit card the night prior.
My teen daughter works out of town and gave her my card that morning to get gas, and was upset that I didn't have a physical card on me. They don't accept Apple Pay for a deposit.
I didn't argue and stayed somewhere else for the cruelty.
