Quaint at the Hotel Korner Opera
This was a cute hotel with wonderful people that were at the front when we came and went. When we came to check in, we had to wait a bit and was wondering why there was no one to check us in. After staying there, we realzed that there was only one person for the hotel (Not many rooms, so that was not a concern). My suggestion is that when they need to leave the front, to put up a note saying just away from the desk, will be back at (estimated time). This may allieviate stress when trying to check in. Or a buzzer system letting them know that someone had a question or needed service from the front end. However to stress, this was a cute and quaint place. I would go there again.

Great location w/ small, basic accommodations
This was what I needed for an inexpensive solo stay in a fantastic part of Paris! The rooms are very small and offer the bare minimum of what you would need but you get what you pay for in the regard. If you’re planning to spend most of your days/nights away from your room exploring then it is great! I wouldn’t stay here with another person though, or if I wanted to hang out in my room more. Less than 15 min walk to the Seine/Pont Neuf. 7 minute walk to Rue Montorgueil. Many grocery stores, cafes, restaurants etc within walking distance. I felt very safe walking around day and night. The staff at the hotel were welcoming and kind.

The staff at the entrance were very kind and helpful. I felt well taken care of. The room was a bit smaller than I expected, and given that the elevator did not feel particularly safe I mostly relied upon the stairs to reach my fourth-floor room.
