This is true Tennessee hospitality. The staff knows your name, they are there to offer you water or whatever you need. Just note that while there is excellent complimentary guest coffee to take out from one restaurant, there are no in-room coffee makers, refrigerator, or microwave. After i checked out of The Hermitage Hotel, I checked in to another which had a significantly smaller room and fewer amenities. Definitely recommend you stay at least one night at The Hermitage Hotel

An exquiste representatation of hospitality at its best. The restoration of the early 20th century rococo empire esthetic transports one immediately as you enter the doorman atteded entrance. From there, all the attention is focused on the visitors comfort and convenience. The lobby, restaurant and cafe, to the suite oriented rooms are an experience in the definition of luxury. Not to mention the Hermitages' place in the history as the pinnacle location for the passage of womens suffrage. In our modern day world of unexceptional expectations, the Hermitage reminds one of expectatations fulfilled.

Nashville Favorite
We LOVED everything about the hermitage.
History. Luxury. Cleanliness. Comfort. Service. Location. Food. Tub.
We hit Broadway at night so being in walking distance was a plus.
We live an hour away and have used many of the luxury hotels, but Hermitage is a favorite.

My husband and I loved the historical restoration. It was beautiful. That is the reason we came and stayed here.
The only slight issue we had was that the hot water for the shower on the 8th floor was very slow in coming.
Otherwise the staff and facilities were exceptional!

Mercedes’s are nice, but Rolls Royce is superior
Staying at Hermitage in Nashville can only be compared to the difference between a Mercedes and a Rolls Royce. Mercedes is an incredible vehicle but when you go to a Rolls Royce, everything is noticeably better. The way you feel, the ride, how others see you, etc. I have stayed at many hotels in Nashville but nothing compares to the Hermitage experience.

This hotel is by FAR the best we have stayed in. And we travel too much!. Valet service, turn down service, immaculate rooms, care and attention to detail when moving our belongings, hanging up a jacket which had been draped over a chair etc.. my wife left a turquoise necklace which had apparently fallen to the floor and before she realized it was missing the hotel called to ask if she had left it. NO OTHER HOTEL has ever found anything we left from a business jacket to a set of invisaligns ($3000). Of course.
The HERMITAGE is quite frankly not only beautiful from the moment you walk in but memorable from the moment you walk out.
