It was a quiet peaceful location away from town. It was a 15 minute drive to town not walkable like the site suggested. Lack of internet was inconvenient. Our AT&T cell service was spotty. It does have a jacuzzi tub and an outdoor hot tub that were nice.

Secluded and Comfy
The cabin was secluded, the hot tub was amazing, and the view was incredible. The only caution I would give is the driveway up to the cabins is a little rough. I felt more comfortable using the 4WD function on my vehicle to make it up the hill. But I assure you, the cabin was well worth it.

Disappointed
Hot tub was not cleaned prior to our stay. Kitchen appliances were dated and outside of refrigerator was filthy. Beds were very uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed the stay here! Will plan another trip with them & I would only say the parking for this cabin wasn't good but loved staying here. The other cabins had great parking this cabin we had to park in the roadway.

Power outages, dogs barking, poor customer service
Had to wait for the door code with no internet service , moved our things in, very clean and cute, but power went out. Tried getting help from customer service, their solution was to charge us for two nights anyway and offered a b&b at our cost!!! No refund no comparable accommodations offered. A b&b with 7 other families during covid-19..no thank you.. Hot tub was great and everything worked nicely inside. Thank goodness the power eventually came back on and we stayed. Very bad ruts up to the cabins and the huge pitbull barking just down the hill all day and through the night was quite a damper on an intended quiet relaxing two days.

A relaxing get a way
The Rustic cabin was situated literally in the middle of the woods. Very quiet and peaceful location. The cabin was a bit small with only one bathroom. Very cozy with the fireplace and heart shape tub in the middle of the living room which was very romantic. An additional hot tub outside. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay at the Mayapple! Yes, the driveway was a little rutted but definitely passable. Also, no cell or internet at the cabin (which was fine with us as it was not advertised or expected) but if you need to stay plugged in, you may need to drive a few miles for a signal. Also, if you have mobility issues or trouble getting in and out of a tub, this may be a problem. There is a handle to help stepping into hot tub but it's a big step and an elderly person or someone with walking difficulty would find it a challenge. But, overall very clean and nice. Very comfy king bed, great shower, no issues at all. Slept wonderfully and highly enjoyed our stay. Only a few minutes from Pigeon Forge but it was very private and secluded. We could see the other cabins but that was about it. Definitely recommend!

cabin in the woods
Everything was very nice however this was for my birthday trip and the hot tub (main reason we booked) needed to be cleaned and serviced. I do hope they get all the amenities up to date and working correctly because we would love to come stay again.

It was more rustic than I wanted, it was unkept especially outside. Had to clean just to use hot tub and even sit on front porch. It was very peaceful and a good place to rest and relax. Never got internet connection on our stay, the staff was very friendly and tried to help get internet up, but it was not on their end but the internet companies. It was not a bad trip overall.

Cute cabin w/hot tub
Cute little cabin with hot tub for two. Cabin nestled among five other cabins but there is decent distance, probably better in the spring/summer when trees obscure the views. Loved the wood burning fire place and indoor tub. I think the cleaning fee was a bit much for the space, but everything was relatively clean upon arrival. Check In and Check Out were simple and easy to figure out.

Remote and Beautiful
Cant say we will stay here again unless wifi or ESPN is available. Cabin has no landline phone. Good to know espcially when your cell and your wifes cell doesnt work and one of us is diabetic and the other is injury prone.

There was nothing aboht this property we liked. We never reached the cabin. The road was up a 20 degree grade and consisted of rock and mud. Wre stoppef half way up because the bottom of our car was dtagging in the ruts. Property should nsver be offered.
