The property cancelled our booking at 4pm on the day of arrival via email, whilst on the plane flying there, they offered no true explanation or detail. Thankfully I was in the UK, not on the flight, I called several times, they didn’t call back or offer any adequate explanation or solution. They stated the credit card payment had been unable to process when I eventually spoke to someone. There was no issue with our bank. They offered no way to make the payment using an alternative method. Offered no way to rebook the room. Offered no explanation as why this happened and no option for an alternative hotel booking. My husband landed in Lisbon, to this news, was left stranded in the evening with no where to stay. This is worst customer service I have ever received.
