Below expectations
I don’t wanna talk about this, but it’s negative. From the smelly room to an inefficient HVCA, you don’t get the value of your pay. I mean, issue with them is why would they charge that amount if they can’t even provide a complementary breakfast. Lastly, I don’t know why people lodge in the hotel in the first place. I was disappointed.

Lack of info in the room
When we got to the room there was a menu but no hours of operation. No check out time, no location and times for the pool. There was a poster by the elevator we saw after leaving the room. It needs to be in the room so plans can be made for each day.

The room was clean and facility was nice. The front desk staff were very helpful friendly and attentive. The bed was very comfy. The noise from the Rooftop bar across the street was unbelievably disrespectful and disruptive but the front desk staff assured us that it would quiet down and by 11 PM it was very quiet- this was on Saturday August 31/24. Otherwise very quiet place even with a wedding at the Venue. The breakfast was quite expensive for the quantity of dishes as a buffet. Obviously the facility was understaffed but the staff were very polite and helpful. It was very surprising that the lounge was not open after the Sask Roughrider Labor Day classic as we and many other visitors staying in the hotel were hungry and would have enjoyed a beverage.

Labour Day Classic
It was a great stay, bathtub was the best size for a soaker, quiet rooms. Hot tub wasn’t working and clumps of hair around the pool and exercise equipment didn’t work properly. It was a great location for catching the football game.

Upon arrival, our check-in was quick and guest services were awesome. We were originally assigned room 915. When we went to put our beverages in the fridge, we noticed it wasn’t cooling. We called the front desk and they sent us up one of the cleaning crew because the maintenance crew hadn’t arrived yet. The fellow tried to take all of the chunks of ice off around the condensing unit, but it still didn’t work. They replace the fridge which also did not work. Since this was not acceptable, they changed us to room 905 which was smaller. The toilet was absolutely gross with a thick ring around the inner basin. I asked cleaning crew to clean it which they did. The inner fridge cabinet was filthy and needs dusting. We visited the hot tub, which was barely a hot tub and only had one jet working. While this area is quite beautiful the hot tub and the ice cold pool were not enjoyable. The checkout process was quite quick, and the best part about our stay was the friendly staff and the location which was close to all of our activities for the weekend
