Unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations, particularly given the premium price we paid for 3 nights. Upon arrival, we noticed a very unpleasant odor emanating from the toilet in my parents' bathroom. The stench was so strong that it disrupted their sleep and made the room almost uninhabitable. Despite spraying a significant amount of our own room spray-approximately one-third of the bottle-the smell persisted throughout our stay. As a result of this issue, the four of us were forced to share the remaining toilet, which was far from ideal and caused considerable inconvenience. Moreover, we also discovered that two light bulbs in the apartment were not working, which further contributed to the discomfort of our stay. We reported these issues on the first day of our stay, but disappointingly, there was lack of responsive. especially considering the reputation of your establishment and the price we paid for our accommodation. We travelled 3weeks in Europe and never had this unpleasant experience and we are staying at hotel near be mate place in Barcelona, and guess what there is no smell coming from the toilet nor bathroom. Def nothing to do with Barcelona city. Not worth the money and definitely we didn't get a service what we have paid for.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. The staff helped us arrange a doctor visit for my daughter who was not feeling well. Anything we needed they were more than happy to accommodate. For our last night, we were given the name of the best tapas spot that is loved by locals.it didn’t disappoint. Thanks for making our Barcelona trip so memorable.

We really loved the location of the hotel however we felt our apartment which was a one bedroom apartment was very cramped. They have no closets there; so you basically live our of your suitcase. They offer you one time cleaning service but the housekeeper didn't really clean our floor or bathrooms. She just changed out sheets and towels. So I had to ask again. Communication was great with Melissa, She was very patient with all of our questions. Overall if we come back; would opt for a 2 bedroom rather then a one bedroom

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location with everything you need nearby. Mostly a pleasant experience however, we stayed on the third floor and whenever anyone on the patios down below on the first level were smoking, the smell permeated the entire apartment. People here smoke quite often so it was extremely disturbing to the point it would wake us up at night. This would happen several times a day and at night. The weather and view is beautiful so having the windows open was part of the experience so having to close them to attempt to keep the smell out was unfortunate. It was quite loud outside at times but that did not bother us. Also, the apartment has a small combo washer/dryer and not sure if it's normal but it takes 4 hours per load and we still had to hang dry after.

Arriving early, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgraded room featuring a balcony, which added a lovely touch to our stay. The location is excellent, conveniently situated for exploring the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing much-needed rest after long days of sightseeing. Though the hotel is higher priced, the quality is evident in every aspect. The shower was stellar, offering a luxurious experience, and the king bed was amazing, ensuring we were well-rested each night. Overall, our stay at Be Mate Paseo de Gracia was exceptional. From the prime location and comfortable accommodations to the high-quality amenities, it was worth every penny. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Second time at Bemate apartments but this time stayed for 3 nights. I didn’t realise towels were not changed during stay so found this really disappointing. When requested from reception, they sent the housekeeper who refused to give us more towels. Reception staff are welcoming and respond to messages.
