The hotel is new, so it was a bit difficult for the taxi driver to find. Google maps helped us get there easily. The hotel is stylish and beautiful. Check-in was easy and fast. Staff recognized our reservation by name, led us to the elevator, and bowed as the doors closed.
We booked the Executive Twin Room, 2 Queen Beds. This room is massive, even by western standards! It was absolutely gorgeous. Beds were full-sized, there’s a sofa and coffee table to relax in, a desk area, and plenty of room to walk around and exercise. The views out the windows are nothing spectacular but the lighting setup in the room more than makes up for it. The AC and humidifier were easy to figure out and operate. The amenities were top notch, including a traditional tea set and a pod coffee maker.
The bathroom was luxurious. The toilet is in a separate room, so it can be used while another guest is in the shower. There’s a full-sized bathtub and a full-sized shower in the same space. There’s rainfall showerhead and a detachable showerhead. The bathroom opens into a huge dressing area where a family of four can get ready at the same time. It’s missing towel racks but it’s a non-issue with the great room service.
The breakfast was contracted to a café next door in the same building. The café was chic but minimalist–enough for small breakfasts. The apple juice was great and fresh. Coffee costs extra.
Most of the staff is fluent in English but I did have to use Google translate for overnight staff.
