Ideal and good value for a stop over en route.
Our satnav found it a little difficult to locate, but once there the welcome was good, and the room and facilities exceeded our expectations. Food and drink a little pricey, but this is the South East, so we expected it.

8/10 Very Good

Clean hotel room separate from the pub. It was a cheap price and comfortable with everything that you could need with a full sized kettle and TV. It was a little dusty in some places and I got the feeling it hadn’t been stayed in a little while. Continental breakfast was good and enough to have something you liked. Overall would stay again.

Always a wonderful stay at this lovely place. Clean and comfortable room/bed. Delicious selection of continental breakfast in your room, fridge to keep milk and juice fresh. Breakfast items topped up daily. The food and service in the pub is exemplary. The manager is an excellent host who clearly works very hard. We love staying here and can't recommend it highly enough. It's a stones throw from the railway station so easy access into central London too.

Very cool old English pub, tucked away in a quiet little hamlet. Rooms are in a converted stables, while not large are well appointed. Was a great place to rest up after a long flight.

Wonderful little pub, very friendly manager who showed us to and around our rooms, very clean room and plenty to choose from for the free breakfast in the room. Cosy little pub and great and friendly service there. Only suggestion (and this is no complaint) is maybe include a pot noodle or two in the room (chicken and mushroom/beef and tomato 😁) Thanks for the lovely stay!

Excellent service
Excellent value for money. The 2 staff members we met were both polite and helpful. The cleaning lady went over and above to help us when I left my phone charger in the room. Really appreciated.

Great place to stay
One night transit stay. The room was clean. The in room breakfast was very good with plenty of choice in cereal & milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, grain bar and apples. All for a very good price of £50 per room.

6/10 Good

Fantastic staff and service. The food portion size in the pub was generous, and the breakfast tray was a nice touch. Unfortunately, in the room itself the air con was broken, the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable, the decor was dated, and the blinds were not blackout. I was awoken early by the bins being emptied.

Overnight stop
Very friendly staff and a lovely clean room. And the food in the bar was just fine. Everything I needed for an overnight stay before getting the Eurotunnel the following morning.
