2/10 Poor

The property is 100% falsely advertising on this website. EVERYTHING IS CLOSED! THERE IS NO USABLE POOL, HOT TUB, SAUNA OR GYM LIKE STATED IN WEBSITE DESCRIPTION. THE RESTAURANT AND BAR ARE CLOSED "UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE" THERE IS NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, NO CABLE TV IN THE ROOMS. THERE WERE HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN THE FRONT OF THE LOBBY. It is also a hostel which is NOT SAID in the description. There are sketchy people throughout the hotel. We went for our daughters soccer tournament and did not feel safe for her to walk around alone. Trash everywhere outside. I don't like leaving all negative comments so the best things about it were: the beds were very soft and comfy, the rooms were decently clean, however the sheets were hopefully clean, just stained. Plenty of comfy pillows and the courtyard was well maintained and very nice with fish and a little waterfall. WILL NOT BE BACK!

4/10 Fair

It seems as if this is a hotel that was once very nice but is past its prime. The pool, sauna, spa, restaurant, bar are all out of service indefinitely. The rooms do not have cable and only have basic channels. Our remote didn’t work and the front desk did not have a replacement. The safety chain for the room door was missing and the bathroom was a little iffy. We were apparently on the “Executive floor” that did not allow pets but alas, there was barking. Although there was a strong “smoke” smell in the hallway, the room itself was fine. It served its purpose for the 14 hours we were there.

This hotel closed several years ago and is now occupied by squatters and staffed by ghosts. Have you ever watched the shining and said “if only that hotel was in central Michigan “. That hotel has absolutely zero business operating in its current condition.

In the pictures on line it said they had a pool like we could use it. Not true they said not enough staff. Had to plug in the refrigerator, our tv did not work, when i got my refund for the next night it was difficult to get any worthy help. They cashed me out when i paid by c.card, then charged my card anyway because they made a mistake and refunded my money too many times.Just not a good experience,

I chose this hotel for several of the amenities it had listed on the website, such as, pool, breakfast, attached restaurants, etc. Also, on the website, the pictures looked like it was a really nice place. Whe. We arrived, it is more run down and unkept than the pictures. Only one door to get in and the parking lot is quite a ways from that entrance. The first thing I see at check in is a sign saying there is no pool, spa, weight room, cable tv or pretty much any of the amenities I thought we would have. When I asked about what time breakfasts started, I was informed there is no breakfast or restaurants. That was ine thing I really wanted due to having to be up and out early for my boys' tournament we were in town for. It's easier and more convenient to be able to eat right at hitel than having to find someplace open early and drive there. The facility was pretty clean. Our room seemed clean. However, the facility halls were very hot and smelled like pot. They really need to update their website. It is full of false advertising! I would have NEVER chose this facility had it been truthful.

The property as a whole is dirty and run down. The restaurant, pool, spa and gym were all closed until further notice. They said due to staffing. Also there was no cable TV in the rooms. It was 90 degrees outside and the floor hallways had no air. Luckily the only plus was the air worked in the rooms. The whole property was dirty and full of cobwebs literally.

Unbelievable. If zero stars were an option - that's what this dismal place deserves. I can't believe this is a listing on expedia!!! This place is dirty, and smells badly of cigarettes and wet dog. No services are available; no gym, no pool, no bar, no restaurant, nothing. There are homeless people walking the hallways like zombies. Apocalyptic. BEWARE!!!!

Not clean, amenities all closed
I showed up and the place was pretty much abandoned. None of the hotel amenities listed on hotels dot com were available, everything was closed until further notice. No cable tv anymore either. The room hasn’t been cleaned, I turned around and checked out.
