The hotel from the start, had an awful smell in the lobby. Getting checked in, was a pretty easy, however within 10 minutes of getting into my first room, the sink didn’t drain, and the white pillows had yellow stains. I told the front desk, and they moved me to another room.
The second room appeared to be better at first however the microwave didn’t work, and the shower leaked all over the floor.
I then I had to leave early due to unforeseen circumstances. And when I informed the front desk he stated I had to speak with Hotels.com to get the refund. He then stated “well I’m not able approve refunds” after Hotels.com tried speaking with them.
Theee days later, I’m informed that I will not be getting a refund because emerald beach already used it. Hopefully they used it on bleach to clean white bedding.
The roof also leaks in the pool/game room.
The best part of the stay, was the bar, it made it easier to ignore the dirty and bad smell surroundings within the hotel.
