"The reason I selected the Imani Country House was its proximity to the Almendres Cromlech, an arrangement of stones that pre-dates Stonehenge. Therefore, as expected, it was in the middle of nowhere on dirt roads. It was a beautiful place with orange and olive trees, lovely roses, two pools, and luxurious rooms with a fully-stocked mini-bar. We had some issues with service (e.g., being given the key to a room that was already occupied, the restaurant and front desk not being opened at advertised...

"We stayed at the suites in May and we really enjoyed it! The room was very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. We liked there was some sitting area to sit and play cards with friends. The pool looked great but weather was too chilly! The breakfast was very tasty and well done!! "

"This wonderful boutique hotel has only recently opened and was a former residence, in the heart of Évora. We enjoyed a 2 night stay and could not fault it. The staff were so lovely and every aspect of this hotel excelled! Our room was enormous, with a little Juliette balcony. Beautiful sheets and towels. A nice pool area with loungers but the weather didn't oblige! Our stay included breakfast. We would highly recommend a stay!"

"It was a beautiful hotel in a restored very old building. Our room had a fabulous view over the long flatlands looking east (Évora is on a hilltop). Couldn’t be more conveniently located near the cathedral and Roman Temple of Diana."

"Amazing place to stay. Very comfortable room overlooking a nice garden with outside patio although it was late Feb when we were there and raining and cool so couldn’t use the outdoor facilities. Staff were amazing and very helpful with information. Arranged a cab to the bus terminal for us and it was an easy walk to every where. Highly recommend this place to stay. "
