"Tortuguero is such a cute town! We weren’t sure we wanted to make the drive but we loved it. The boat ride from La Pavona is beautiful and the town is great for walking around and shopping. We took a guided night hike and saw a turtle laying eggs on the beach! The staff were very nice and helpful and the air conditioning in the rooms was nice. Only stayed one night but loved it!"

"This felt like hostel style accommodation at hotel prices. Tired, old towels and gaps that insects could get in. No added extras. Lots of school groups and the day we weee there for breakfast (most times we missed it as out on early start trips) was poor. You can use the Evergreen swimming

The only improvement I would suggest is a fridge and coffee maker in the room, and we think someone could make some money offering a bag carrying service from the port with a cart! It’s very hot with heavy bags. But overall a lovely stay - thank you! "
