"Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. Since then we have now been again twice and the experience has only gotten better and better! Highly recommend for an extremely unique experience in Umbria with much to see a in the area."

"Our stay at Borgo Mandoleto was towards the end of a couple of week sin Italy. What a great way to wind up the trip! Donnatella and he husband are marvelous! Donnatella is a wonderful cook, I highly recommend eating with them at every opportunity. The property is just outside of the small village of Solomeo, near Perugia. It is quiet and relaxing. We made friends with Mema, the kitty in residence, and she was fine company as well. There is a beautiful

Good price, idyllic setting - I just wish there was a bus or shuttle going up to the town. Very friendly new...
