The coffee machine didn’t work so was difficult to get a coffee as you had to get the attention of this one person who was quite busy and not just tending The breakfast area. "Room was clean, bed was very hard. The room we stayed in was near the elevator (407) and you could hear it all night pinging when arriving on the floor. The corridor had a lot of echo which transferred into the room. Luckily these noises subsided later in the evening. Towels had stains, which made them off colour. The views from the balcony were stunning! "

"This hotel is in a great location in central Marly close to Fribourg. It's a simple bus ride into Fribourg, where there is lots to see and do. The room is not air-conditioned, but not many places in Switzerland are. The hotel downstairs is spotless and delicious, and the staff are all very friendly. I'd recommend this hotel for travelers who want to see Fribourg but get a taste of Swiss village life---great point from which to bike around the countryside as well!"
