We did have a problem with our room which could not have been foreseen but it was dealt with. "This place is a true gem in Umbria. We found it on accident when looking for a place to stay in the area. To our surprise, we were greeted with open arms by the staff and treated to a most delightful room overlooking the Umbrian countryside. The spa, the pools and the gardens, our magnificent. In fact, we left the area to look for Real Estate and stayed a night away from this property. We found ourselves missing this place and decided to return immediately. "

"I'm seriously impressed by how beautiful this hotel was. Rustic, beautiful tiles and floors, doors, gorgeous gardens and pool, all built into the side of a mountain with a stream running by as a view for breakfast. The room was also spacious and clean. The bathtub also apparently doubled as a jacuzzi though I didn't partake. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was good. Air on included. Parking included. Rooms were quiet despite property being near a road. "

"Not too great on the first night to be honest. The location, stunning, the room, beautiful with the swimming pool right on our door step. However, the heater for said swimming pool is located opposite the headboard of our bed, so during the course of the night you can hear the machine working away with a constant humming sound, which, during the night is greatly amplified.
