The hotel is located very close to Kofu Station and there are lots of restraunts and bars etc near the hotel. The coin laundry also equipped in the hotel. Room is very clean. Enjoy!

Basic hotel, small rooms that are OK.

Small rooms that are quite OK, but lack a few things: 1) the air conditioning blows straight onto the bed. It's uncomfortable. 2) the water kettle in the room needs 20min to boil 500ml of water. 3) the cleaning policy of Toyoko Inn, is not guest friendly: if you want cleaning of your room, you can not use the room between 10.00 and 15.00 o'clock. The breakfast is free and good value. Coin laundry is available for 200 yen. Very good.

Convenient location

The only issue I had with my stay here is the coin laundry. The detergent was terrible - had I known I would have totally head out to a convenience shop nearby and buy more expensive stuff there. I didn't have a lot of clothes to wash but the soap you can buy (a package is about 40 JPY I believe) was just such utter crap I can tell my clothes weren't washed thoroughly. Please, just put better soap there - people are happy to pay for it. Also, can you please ensure that at least some breakfast is still available by 8:55 am? There's no reason why the whole table should be clear before 9am if that's the breakfast time you promised. Otherwise it's really convenient, you can see the hotel from the train station and considering how Kofu is a smaller city in comparison, it's really helpful to have a couple of convenience stores, cafe, bar, and restaurants nearby so I can grab a bite late at night.
