8/10 Very good

Convenient friendly hotel

We spent 8 days at this hotel. The room is comfortable and adequately equipped. The hotel is conveniently situated, within walking distance of the railway station, various bus stops and a busy bustling market. The staff were pleasant and did their best to help our communication problems! The hotel is over the hot springs which guests can use.

The location of the hotel is very good. But it is a bit of a rundown place. The carpets in the rooms are disgusting. The traditional spa is the highlight.

Very run down. Clean but old. A/C unit did not work well. Kid saud it felt like a haunted house. We were there on a Sunday night.

Nice and quiet place to relax, but needs some renovation in the facility.

Old. Dirty. Smelly.
Brian, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

The property was quite old and run down but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the resin I gave it 4 stars instead of 3 stars is that the price is not bad, and I believe most hotels in the area are similar. The onsen is good but also other hotels have them as well. I guess this is one of the most famous ones.
Douglas James, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

I came here to enjoy hot spring water but they charge every time in and out and no shampoo and poor equipments. Also I paid breakfast money but no buffet in the morning because of not enough customers to operate breakfast bar in the morning

It was so old and never renovated the room... the room conditions was 30 or 40 years old... I never go again....

10/10 Exceptional

It is sad that Hot spring close at 9, quite early. But the staff is willing to translate Korean to us. The hot spring is spacious and nice. The air-con in bedroom is hard to manage. The hotel is large, traditional and old enough. But it is near the market street, it is pro.
Sam, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Bed was uncomfortable
John, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

The amenities are outdated and the hot springs were disappointing. There was an extra fee to use the hot spring as well as the gym despite being a guest. Would not recommend this accommodation.

6/10 Good

I really enjoyed that there was access to the hot springs within the hotel. The location was also great. However, I didn't like that there were extra charges for EVERYTHING. Using the gym, the laundry service, even a toothbrush came with an extra charge. I wouldn't have minded some of the charges so much if they had mentioned there is an added fee under their amenities list.
Julie, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

Outdated, room was filthy, carpets in common areas were stained and old, hotel cafe/restaurant never seemed to be open. Bedding was threadbare

Hunki, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Aged and dirty

Hotel wasnโ€™t very clean and a little run down. Carpets in the room was stained, dirty ( havenโ€™t been vacuumed for days/weeks), needing stretching, and really needing to be replaced. Door to the bathroom was rotting away from the bottom and the bathtub was damaged. We booked for two nights but left after one. Staff was nice for the couple of them we seen. Would not recommend until some upgrades are done.
Terry, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Stayed there for 2 minutes

The saunas were advertised as 24 hours, but closed at 8 PM. The room had very damp air, and the carpet was dirty and unclean. There were black spots that resembled mold on the carpet, and it was hard to tell if it was part of the design or if it was from the lack of cleaning. The hotel in general was never renovated and had a foul odor.
Tae, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

This property is very old and so are the furnishings inside of it. The couch in my room was ripped in multiple locations and the carpeting was so dirty in places that it looked dark brown or black, when it was actually beige. I tried to cancel the reservation because I did not want to stay there with the existing conditions but the manager there (I was told his name was Chen) refused to allow early checkout or any type of refund for the gross conditions. I ended up leaving the property and finding a new hotel (Ramada) even though I had already paid for the nasty one. Thankfully, Expedia is much more hospitable and was able to offer a OneCash credit to help offset some of the costs. We will never go to this hotel again!
