Let's start with the greeting. Don't want to mention that the airlines lost my luggage but it is what it is. Chris and Face helped me to obtain clothes and toiletries due to the fact i had nothing. They made me feel safe and comfortable. The rating chart is too low if i could i wold give them 10 stars. This nice quiet family owned resort is kind and compassionate They make you feel like you're apart of their family. Thabk you for you kindness.

The rooms were very very old and dirty. The sheets and pillow case had stains, couldn't connect to wifi, slippes on watee on the front porch. And no hot water. ,i can go on and on

My daughter and I traveled a day early and although it was a last minute booking we enjoyed our stay. Major and the ladies at the hotel were very friendly and kind. Peppers Restaurant was the best recommendation that we could have ever asked for.

This property is at a great location but it just need some TLC. The staffing is not great and they have no amenities. No security and you park at your own risk.

The owner of this property should be ashamed. This place is outdated, dirty and has a damp and haunted atmosphere. I feel it mostly for the employees, they can only do with what they are given.

Big Apple is Bad news Dirty,Mosquitoes eat you alive No WiFi they will lie about the WiFi NO FOOD, I mean no food at all. Totally rundown, no glass in the window to my room. Toilet does not work, no water in the face basin Dangerously exposed electrical cables Broken smoke alarm No shower head on shower Lots of mess in the pool They promised free shuttle to the airport but the driver will still charge you $3000 when dropped off although the fair is $2000 on chartered taxi and $150 on route taxis. You won’t see professionally looking staff just two men smoking mariwana. SOMEONE TRIED TO ENTER MY ROOM AT 2AM THANKFULLY MY DOOR WAS LOCKED. I didn’t sleep after that The decision is your but you’ve been warned.

Checking in bad start up. The manager wanted to “ upgrade my room to a KING single toom asking for more money. I refused saying I already have a LUXURY king size room. Room status. Deplorable. No bed cover. The toilet was leaking feeling the bathroom floor of water which was spreading into the room. The shower floor was broken and patched with a pitiful ugly patch up. The shower was also leaking somewhere before the water hit the shower head. The room floor was somehow clean but dust in the corners. The balcony was probably never swept. In front if the balcony was a cement floor full of cigarette ends. Definitely a major NO NO.

Woke up to a bug crawling on the bed. Ants were on the wall the small tv sat on a little table leaning on a wall. The bed was a Full not a Queen and the bedding was old with a couple stains on the sheets. No blanket/comforters.The bathroom ok we killed bugs on the floor iand the wall the water in the sink we just let it run to get hot to wash our hands. The shower was so dirty and old. It looked like a gas station off a highway bathroom with a shower super small. It was the worst stay every in all my travels. I can't believe Expedia offers this I have pictures to show. We stayed one nit and checked in to our resort the very next day. I felt so dirty that next morning we slept with our clothing on and on top of sheets so not telling what was crawling when we finally went to sleep. The taxi driver warned us that itit's a place she wouldn't stay but we were thinking only one night. Never again and I do not recommend. The place had fake advertisements of a club VIP and restaurant. Neither it sits off a very busy road of traffic. No nothing else. Hopefully this helps others. No I do not recommend once again. It is not a over night stay place I am sure most would have check right back out after entering the room.. I honestly wanted my MONEY back and the taxi driver did not lie. She said if you want me to come back and get you text me. She had people do that before but wanted to be honest with us. It made me question Expedia No No No It was more but that should be enough

Terrible stay away!!!!!

I did not stay longer than 10min. I got sick from the strong chemicals used to cover dust, wetness and moldy smell. I was symptomatic after 5min. I visited 2 rooms and none was accommodating. I ask for a refund immediately as advertisement is misleading and inaccurate but both hotlel.com and big apple denied me a refund. Terrible service on big sides. Also they said I request honeymoon sweet and that was inaccurate.

Budget motel for sleeping only

Check in was smooth and they provided options of available rooms to choose from. The place was very run down but the view was nice and there was a pac man machine in the room which my 8 year old liked. There was no fridge, no microwave, no kettle or coffee pot, no bottled water in the room or at the front desk, and soap provided was labeled as laundry soap. The only part of the room that appeared clean were the sheets thankfully.

Great view from balcony! No food on site but excellent recommendation with Peppers restaurant walking distance block away. Air conditioner was working but did without nevertheless.

The property has a lot of potential to be great but needs tlc. The sights overlooking Jamaica are breathtaking. The bedding was not clean and the room needs updating.
