I did pay more for a room with a "courtyard view" but the view (and accompanying noise) belonged to the construction of tents (being prepared for an upcoming gem show) that covered the property -- no courtyard to view! Surprisingly convenient location, near the trolley, walk to downtown and the the Annex.
