As soon as our family from Baton Rouge entered our room, we immediately checked out and moved to a better hotel across Siegan Lane to Courtyard By Marriott where it was definitely much better and much safer! You had crackheads walking around our floor, smelly rooms, broken chairs, not good wifi!

Worst place EVER. DO NOT ASSUME THE PICTURES ARE TRUE. We changed rooms three...THREE .. times in less than 10 minutes. Smoke filled, cigarette burns, missing linens, no coffee maker, chairs broken, missing lamp shades, broken drawers, NO SMOKE DETECTORS.. The ENTIRE third floor smelled like cigarette smoke inspite of the 100% Non Smoking Facility promise. I am pretty sure there are drugs being dealt upstairs and the transactions are intentionally overlooked. Every desk attendant claimed to be new and had no knowledge of how to manage the business. Every one claimed the hotel was recently purchased and they had started to remodel and had no knowledge of the faults. How do you not know how smoky a place is, or that the smoke detectors are missing...or that the elevstor hasnt been cleaned in months? The final straw was the 5 cockroaches that came out of the microwave when the door was opened. This place does not deserve the LaQuinta nor Wyndham names.

The hotel is being renovated and paint thinners was left in the hallway leading to our rooms. When the staff was told how dangerous this practice was, they only said that work was being done in the hotel and covered those items with a piece of canvas. Paint droppings were left on the floor. Drywall shavings were left behind the toilet. The drywall near the a/c unit became dislodged exposing the wall behind. My daughter's room was not swept, when the front office was told, they said no one was available to clean it. My daughter asked for a broom and I swept the room. One of the doors to the rooms did not close securely to the door jamb. This hotel is ideally located close to I10 west and east and easy access to food and gas. Closing part of the hotel to complete renovations may result in a better review. Pictures are included.

It’s very strange to me to receive this message and time allowed to review my stay especially after being told I didn’t have a reservation. When I arrived to the hotel the young lady at the front desk told me she didn’t see a reservation for me. I assured her I did by showing her all reservation emails she searched again and claimed to have not seen any reservation for me. She even confirmed I was at the correct location but still couldn’t accommodate me therefore I have nothing nice to say about this hotel and wish to never be recommended to stay here anymore.

This place was by far the worse hotel I have ever been to. The room smelled dirty, the linen was stained and the bathroom seemed to have mold growing around the borders. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Entire hotel is just in really bad condition. If renovated in the last 10 years, everything starting to chip. Front desk clerk wasn’t very customer service oriented, hotel lobby, reeked of a moldy mop even the hotel was no smoking, when we got off the elevator on third floor all you could smell with cigarette smoke once inside the room you don’t know if the floor has been swept or not. There’s so much old paint flakes. Definitely not mopped. Tub was peeling tub had mold around the edge cigarette burns on tub toilet dresser, bathroom sink… You name it. Looks more like a drug resort.

The lobby was hot and had to wait 15 minutes to check in. The room was hot when we walked in and, it smelled like smoke. The room looked like it wasn’t cleaned good in years. We asked the front desk for extra wash cloths, and was told they didn’t have any. The picture that’s used to get booking looks totally different in person.

There is a foul stench throughout the hotel. The carpets are filthy. In room 331 the smoke detector is covered with a plastic grocery bag. The desk is crooked and broken. There was a leak in the roof that ran down the wall and formed a strange bubble in the paint. The toilet is not bolted to the floor so it rocks when you use it. The other guests are noisey at night with children running up and down the hallways and doors slamming. Drive right past this area into town for many better places to stay. I'm shocked that Wyndham would allow their name to be associated with this horror show.

This hotel needs to be upgraded, very nasty no hot water smells like weed they had trash in the hallways. I always stay at this hotel but this last visit was terrible. Never again. Look like drug users and working girls were staying there. I felt unsafe for the first time.

Remarkably quiet room, given its location right by the freeway. Clean. Easy check-in and checkout. I got up at 10 AM and there was no breakfast service in the dining area. No iron in the room. Soap and shampoo, but no toothpaste. (?)

When I pulled up I see guys standing outside smoking. I sat in the lobby and I was asked to leave because I was told they don’t allow sitting in the lobby. In my mind I was like why are all these people allowed to be in the parking lot. The hallways smelled like marijuana and the bed sheets smelled like smoke.
