Serviceable but not clean
I really do hate to give a bad review, because the staff was nice, but but seriously- I felt like they need to hire more help for their cleaning and maintenance staff- Starting with the lobby- Paint was terrible, door and window casings badly painted and then smashed and banged around by luggage. Carpets were not vacuumed and the place smelled very heavily of bad air fresheners. Regardless of what you think, people will and do look into the corners - the weird garden out front should be reworked- what the heck is with the plastic lattice? In the room- Good simple basic room was worthy of the money but I had to spray it and clean it before we could use it- We were there for medical purposes and I did not want to take the chance of of getting sick before surgery.- Granted, I might have had a little higher expectations because of this. Bathroom- Filthy walls, had yellow gunk dripping down all the way from the top- bathtub was in need of (at the very least) rinsing out. Linen's were good except the cigarette burns in the bedspread. Tissue box under the sink was great except you could not get the tissues out because it was over filled. Bathroom sink fixtures and mirror had toothpaste splashes all over them and the floors made my feet black. Batteries in the TV remote did not work - night desk had to come to the room and show us how to manually work the TV because they did not have any more batteries.

After being on the road for 12 hours, I was more then ready to accept almost anywhere to stay, so it met my immediate needs. The property itself was maintained but the room on the other hand was kinda run down. There were small holes in the wall and the bathroom sink wouldn’t drain throughout my stay. So even brushing your teeth or washing your hands was kinda gross. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again!

No personality
The person who checked us had no personality, not even a smile. No internet, tv was not working, lights in the bathroom strobing and the sink would not drain.

Our room was comfortable and quiet. We slept well. The front desk said soup was available from 5-9 every evening, but the container was empty by 7:30 and never refilled. Similar problem with breakfast. There was a good assortment of hot and cold foods, but as containers were emptied, they were not refilled. There was no employee at the front desk.

Filthy, filthy, filthy. There’s no other way to put it. We had to leave. There was only one person who came to clean up the bathroom, but she was super busy covering the front desk and cleaning a bunch of rooms on the first floor. Never again.

First just because we get a discount why put us in a room that has not been used or cleaned for a long time. The headboard had dust all over it. The mirrors look like they were wiped down with a dirty rag and were streaked. The window was covered with a cover so you could not open or even see out. Above the window at ceiling height was a shelf. WHY. A breakfast the eggs were Luke warm and rubbery so they got tossed in the garbage. The coffee looked like tea and most tables were dirty. They were out of coffee cups and only brought 3 out. The phone in the room would not work. No shampoo, bar soap or body soap if any kind. The Kleenex were empty. The remote would not work. Took two days for them to fix. I won’t be staying there again. We come to Post Falls at least 3 times a year to see my aging father. We were in room 214. The staff was nice

The lobby had an awful smell to it. It was something rotten, sour or moldy or a combination of all 3. It was very bad.

Desk clerk immediately confrontational. Rude. I am obviously handicapped. No carts for luggage. He gives me a second floor room 60' down a hall to two flights of stairs and then another 100' to a parking lot side room. Upon opening the door, the carpet is filthy. Bedside light, when plugged-in, flickered non-stop until I had to unplug it for fear of an electrical fire. The nightstand drawer was broken into pieces and could not be opened. The TV would not work and Rude Deskdude had to come up and get it to produce a picture. Bathroom was smelly and moldy. One-half roll of toilet paper and no tissue at all, Just an empty box. When I turned on the shower, the smell of sweat/perspiration was overwhelming. It smelled like a 300 lb. construction worker that had been working in 108 degree weather for a month without showering. It was awful. Went to plug in my cell phone to charge it and the electrical outlet did not work. Writing desk lamp would not turn on. I have probably forgotten something, but this is the worst place that I have ever stayed. I booked it for convenience to a hospital 4 min. away that I was scheduled to have extensive back surgery in the next day. Part of being there was to apply pre-operative bodily sterilent as part of my surgical process. The Neurosurgeon made me completely repeat the process in the pre-op room because of what I told him about the cleanliness of this Quality Inn. I asked them to put this establishment on "The Do Not Recommend" list.

We received a receipt for the room, said $82 something but my credit card was charged $109. They charged a $50 deposit that they said would be refunded at check out, no receipt, no paper trail, they said it might take time to get the deposit refunded. It was not a pet fee, we had no pets.

The sheets on the bed looked like someone with greasy boots walked on them and it looked like they were used for covering the floor while painting, plus many other stains. The overall room was in disrepair and smelled bad. We had to open the window to get fresh air in to disguise the smell. The building is run down and needs torn down. Absolutely not worth the cost to stay there.
