We had such a relaxing stay! The modern cabin was perfect!

We arrived late at the cabin, however, Barbara was so very accommodating in getting the gate open. We loved the cabin, it was perfectly situated between Santa Fe and the Ranch where our daughter was the wedding photographer - two cars easily fit in the front driveway. What we ALL enjoyed most and not LONG ENOUGH was the peaceful, quiet surroundings of Mother Nature...that forest was special, the trails lovingly built by the owners — a most pleasant surprise — like walking through a zen garden. We also loved the second floor patio - the entire family would get up before sunrise and appreciate the views! Barbara and Selim, I have recommended your home to many who are thinking of visiting the Santa Fe area. We loved our stay at the Cabin in the Woods! It is a cozy, functional house in a beautiful setting convenient.

Wow! What a gorgeous place! We thoroughly enjoyed the privacy and comfort. It is a very clean place and nature oriented. We made hummingbird syrup and had breakfast every morning with those beautiful birds. We saw a gray fox hunting at dusk, and a deer with large horns at night. We had a wonderful time, it is a place suitable for romantic getaways and for adventures and hikers to enjoy the surrounding attractions, trails and national parks. It is fairly close to Santa Fe as well, so we had fun touring and eating there as well. We’ll plan to come back when possible!

Nice weekend getaway from Santa Fe. Secluded woodsy setting. Close to the spectacular Pecos Historical Park.

There were some bugs but other than that it was completely clean. The water heater is small, so you have to take quick showers. The scenery was amazing and the balcony has an amazing sunrise view. The property has nice hiking trails and is conveniently close to other awesome trails, as well as Santa Fe. The road in is a bit rough but the isolation is worth it. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect place to stay while visiting the Santa Fe area, Snowboarding and enjoying Shopping and eating in Santa Fe and surrounding area. Secluded with awesome scenery. Everything we needed while we were there.

We loved it!!

I loved waking up here and wished I was not on an extended family timeline... the blessing (so I am told by the local natives here) was to see a mountain lion in the early hours of daylight. Very rare... My hosts, Barbara and Selim, were wonderful and very accomodating for a woman who had no creamer for her tea initially, not to mention, the fantastic massage from Barbara. I have fibromyalgia and she made the week possible after driving over 2 days. The only issue, but you are forewarned, is the water pressure. It make showering a bit uncomfortable since you can't have a shower without very hot water... I'm not sure what or if anything can be done since you are on a well, but I would stay again for sure!
