Desperately needs modernisation

Unfortunately the only redeeming features of this hotel is the 50m swimming pool and the views due to the location. The hotel rooms are unfortunately far too old and are in desperate need of modernisation, the bathroom and decor are all sorely dated beyond their years. The other massive flaw is WiFi, it's terrible in the rooms, with basically no connection or very low connection that you have to keep moving around to keep it beyond 1 bar of connection. The other flaw is the TV connection, it's not the best and the number of channels are limited, with some of them cutting out every now and then. In normal times, the breakfast buffet is good, in covid times, the buffet is gone, but you get a good preselecton of fruit salad, pastries and a yoghurt, plus tea/coffee and there is a revolving selection of cooked items that can be ordered. The lunch/dinner restaurant is decent with good food being offered. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great pool, would stay again

Checked into this hotel for the weekend on a business trip because I heard they have a 50m pool and I wanted to swim - it did not disappoint! Super beautiful pool and right on the waterfront. Rooms were comfortable and great staff! Much better value for $ than the other hotels with pools for swimming laps in town!

Enjoyed my stay

Very nice hotel with pleasant attentive staff. Pool is outstanding and beautiful surroundings. Rooms a little tired but shower great. Felt safe and made to feel welcome

Stayed at the Hotel Jardin Savana for 1 week. I found the staff (especially Mr Isodora) to be very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself occupies a wonderful location right on the beach, but is showing it's age and is very 'tired' - needs complete refurbishment. Restaurant was lovely and menu / food and service very good. Manager Mr Christian was very accommodating and offered access to the room after checkout for shower, change etc, as I had late pm flight out. Would certainly stay again and hope they will soon be able to modernise the hotel.

Our stay

My fiancé and I stayed for 2 weeks. Beautiful place, clean and the food was very good. The only cons were spotty internet and some of the staff were very arrogant. There were times when we had to get up and serve ourselves at the bar and were ignored. This was not appreciated from a high priced hotel like this and the money we spent during our stay. We had quite a walk to the city and had to take a taxi everywhere. The grounds were well kept, the rooms very clean.

Old run down rooms, doesn't really take advantage of ocean side location. Very remote with little benefit to being near ocean.

Nothing really worked, phone in room, toillette, dryer, machines to pay with card, internet etc. We felt all amenities were there for decoration. Last day, hot water didn't work in the morning. Other than that, service was great and food also.

I stayed 5 nights and had a terrible experience at this property. It is 20 years past it's prime. My room was old and the toilet did not work my entire stay. The in room phones do not work, the property advised that they were under repair and it will take several months. The internet connection is spotty. The staff is not helpful as they have no resources. It took 15 minutes to check-out as they don't have a billing system and prepare your invoice manually in front of you. I couldn't wait to leave the hotel.
