Studio 6 shows to have a 8.1 out of 10 rating, however our stay was not even close. When we arrived our room had an awful smell of dirty ashtray. The floors were not cleaned before the room was assigned. The smell of male cat spray emanating from the A/C caused my wife and two kids to experience far beyond the worst hotel stay of all of our worldly travels. The curtains were dry rotted showing daylight through them. The bathroom sink leaked water and the drain was in need of serious attention. The room was only provided with 2 bath towels for a 4 person reservation and the only amenities provided was a single bar of face soap. When management was notified they didn’t offer to move us to another room and said that the previous tenant had lived there for a year and they were unable to rid the room of the stench. I was told the smell was in the carpet by the manager, however there was no carpet in the room it was tile and wood laminate flooring. I suggested that at the very least the room should not be market as a smoke free room. I was told that it is a smoke free room. I explained that because I am allergic to cigarette smoke I may be more sensitive than some, but the room should be removed from assignments until the issues have been resolved. All the manager had to say was sorry and if you come back I will offer you a discounted rate. Extremely poor management!
