Friendly,but don't go swimming

I had a wonderful stay at the palace the guards the reception the house keepers,kitchen staff,all awesome, the only let down the poolman needs to clean the pools,horrible letting the team down mate

Want to stay in the same room

I will give 3 stars to them, because I can't connect their wifi, and shower have no hot water. They are friendly, and the breakfast is very delicious. But they transfer me to a different room each day, was there 3 nights and all in a different room.

Too much security!!

The hotel I booked was a basic twin bed room, priced accordingly, even though it had no windows, there was still some noise heard from outside traffic in the morning. I think the noise came through a small access door below the a/c unit. The other thing that felt awkward was the security at the lobby..They had armed guards with metal detector just like the airports...Yes its ”Better safe than sorry”, maybe its good to have all tgat security but for a hotel,,,it does sends out possibly the message that the area is very unsafe. I really didn’t feel unsafe in the area but walking (7-10min) to to main avenue might might be scary to dome guests. They do provide a good SUV shuttle for the airport that I used, with a professional driver. Decent breakfast was included. Dinner buffet on Friday was typical Filipino food, not many choices, but not expensive and it tasted good. They have a nice swimming pool. Staffs were cordial and friendly. Hotel was cleaned and the room bed was comfortable to sleep. I would recommend the hotel to others, but management really need to explain why all that security is needed..If there is a good reason for the protection of their guests,,,I would accept that,,but please do respond to me on that. Hotel staff slow to respond to complaints

Their bathroom has leaking, though its new. We convey the problem to them early morning, until we went back late at night the problem was still there hence we asked to be transferred to another room, much to our inconvenience.

Clean and comfortable but plan on eating elsewhere

Not a lot of nice hotels to choose from in this area. This is probably one of the nicer hotels. Staff is very friendly, the lobby and rooms are clean and fairly comfortable (had A/C problems but they got resolved) but breakfast buffet is terrible. 4 dishes served in warmers turned off so all food is cold. Very limited food choice but at least they had brewed coffee.
