I had very high hopes for my two stays at the Ambassadori Hotel, but unfortunately, I was severely let down. The hotel lobby is quite pretty, but you will have to deal with tons of people walking in for the casino, and lots of these people are the types that think they are better than others because they have a lot of money. You constantly feel that they are staring at you and talking about you as a tourist. The front desk staff were friendly and clearly wanted to be helpful. However, they simply could not make up for a room that was not up to snuff. The biggest issue is the fact that the temperature in the room cannot be controlled from the room. As a result, my room was bordering on 80 degrees Fahrenheit for the duration of my stay. The hotel said there was nothing they could do, because if they cooled down my room, others may complain that their room is too cold. The inability to control the temperature in a room at an alleged 5-star hotel is inexplicable. I was literally made sick by the terribly high temperatures in my room. I could not even open the window to cool things down, as it was so loud outside due to the casino patrons, and in addition, when I opened the window, lots of mosquitoes would fly into my room, presenting another danger. Further, the temperature outside was not too much cooler, such that leaving the window open would have been to no avail anyway. Room was dysfunctional - heated floors didn't work, closet bolted shut. Expedia has capped my review.

i got a room with problem in the heat condition. always temp on 30. even when it is off. i told them about that and they let me wait like that for 1 hour. after i said i dont want to stay in that room they gave me another room. small bed and all things in room small and cheaper. it is 5 star hotel but room that is maby 2 star.

my room. had no window and was next to shish club which I could smell and here the noise people enjoying themselves till late. I think this room should be used as a storage cabin.or it could be rated as a 3 star hotel. but the property itself from outside looks very classy and chick also the lobby is classy. the facilities are adequate

I had problems with the A/C. The room was too warm. They sent a technician to the room every day but they could not fix the problem. I could not sleep well due to room temperature. I paid for a better room @ hotels.com and I was given a room with an interior view as the one facing the street was too noisy. So do not bother paying more for a better or bigger room. The hotel is well located, everything looks clean and breakfast is good.

Everything was correct. The gym is not good. I did not try the food but breakfast was very good.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. El personal es amable. El desayuno está bien con opciones para todos. El wifi funcionó muy bien. El área de gym es muy pequeña, no hay ni pesas, no creo que lo deberían publicitar. Por otro lado el área de la piscina está muy bien. Lo único que no me gustó fue que la temperatura de la habitación no se podía regular. Toda la estancia lo reporté pero no pudieron solucionarlo. Lo pero fue la falta de respuesta de Hotels.com al respecto.
